Pawan Khera denounces PM Modi’s remarks during rally with Tharoor, calls it ‘dirty politics’

New Delhi, May 02 2025 (ANI): After the party's CWC meeting, Congress leader Pawan Khera says, "They (Caste Census and Pahalgam Terrorist Attack) were the main issues. The meeting continued for 3 hours, where all our leaders participated and gave their suggestions. Everyone's suggestions were included in the resolution and now we have sent it - both on Pahalgam as well as Caste Census." He further said, "What pressure did you come under and announce Caste Census at this time. But tell us the design, what is the format, what is the deadline, by when it will be done, what steps will be taken after that. Congress has placed before you complete blueprint in Telangana and Karnataka. So, we want to know from the Government whether it will be a bureaucratic Census or a Census for the public. If bureaucracy designs it, then 'Bhagwan Bharose'. If the public designs it, like it happened in Telangana, then you will be able to do a Census of 21st century."The Congress leader further denounced PM Modi’s remarks during rally with Shashi Tharoor, calling it ‘dirty politics’.
