00:00Brentford's rise under manager Thomas Frank continues to impress with their attacking
00:05rebuild, again proving a massive success.
00:10The partnership between Brian Mbwemo and Johan Visser has emerged as one of the Premier League's
00:15most effective.
00:16Combining for over 30 goals in a single season, the highest output either player has achieved
00:22in the top flight.
00:25Their form follows a tradition at Brentford where each forward line seems to outperform
00:29the last.
00:31From the BMW trio of Saeed Benrahma, Oli Watkins and Mbwemo in the Championship to Ivan Toni's
00:38dominant spell in the Premier League, Brentford have consistently developed prolific attackers.
00:45With Toni now gone, Mbwemo and Visser have stepped up.
00:48Their understanding on the pitch has been clear with goals often coming in tandem and sparking
00:54strong team performances.
00:58So that's exceptional from Visser, big credit to him, hopefully also to the way we play
01:02and the chances we create and then of course we need to be on the end of it.
01:07So he's been very good and having Visser and Brian on 15 goals or more, I think we're also
01:15the only club who have that so that I'm very pleased with.
01:20The pair cost just over £14m combined and their value has skyrocketed thanks to consistent
01:26development and tactical fit with Frank's system.
01:32Their future remains uncertain with top clubs across Europe monitoring both.
01:36Brentford rejected interest in Visser during the winter transfer window and while no formal
01:41bids have yet been received for Mbwemo, Major Premier League and European sides are watching
01:46closely.
01:48Both players have contracts set to expire next year, with Brentford holding an option to
01:52extend them by one year.
01:55Behind the scenes succession planning is already in motion but Brentford remain determined to
01:59hold on to their stars as they continue to push for the limits of what's possible for
02:04a data-led club with a modest budget and Bwemo and Visser have become central figures in another
02:10successful chapter at the GTEC.
