00:00Obviously it's slightly disappointing not to have a new job to go to after the weekend
00:06because I had such amazing plans and thoughts about how we could spend the money better
00:11in this region.
00:12I'd got a well thought out plan, a weekend plan to do this together on nature, nurture
00:18and needs and the public seemed to like that.
00:21I got a lot of feedback saying that my action plan of first week and first year results,
00:29that was very much welcome because in politics so often people don't get to see what their
00:36elected representative will do but I really wanted to support our communities, protect
00:43our environment and ensure that people have got the transport they need because that's
00:46what this region is missing.
00:48There was a lot of energy behind you particularly in Bristol, was it disappointing to come behind
00:54reform?
00:55In Bristol we came second, I'm absolutely stoked by that, you know our campaign was
01:02run on a shoestring, it was pulled together last minute because you know I had to be that
01:07replacement candidate and needs must and I stepped up.
01:10I am so proud of my team, they have worked their socks off, they've worked their shoe lever
01:16off you know and we've run something from scratch and it just shows what we can build.
01:23In 2027 South Gloucestershire and Bath have both got elections and in 2028 Bristol has.
01:29So, Labour and reform, we are not going anywhere, the people have prioritised the planet and the
01:36environment and that's where our heart is and that's where it's going to stay.
