CCTV shows moment man abducted in Muswellbrook

A 25-year-old man was allegedly kidnapped on a rural New South Wales highway, with new CCTV showing suspects and vehicles linked to the incident.

Shocking CCTV footage has been released following the alleged kidnapping of a man in the New

South Wales town of Muzzlebrook.

Police said around 4am on Friday, the 21st of March, a 25-year-old man was forced off

the New England highway by five men travelling in a silver Subaru Impreza.

He was allegedly assaulted, dragged from his vehicle and taken to nearby Tyndale Street,

where the Subaru remained for some time before heading towards Denman or surrounding rural

areas.

Soon after, another man, aged 35, was targeted outside the same address.

His car was hit by a Holden Commodore Ute, and he was allegedly threatened before managing

to flee unharmed.

The 25-year-old was later found at Muzzlebrook Railway Station with facial injuries.

He was treated by paramedics and taken to John Hunter Hospital.

Strikeforce Sanderston has now been established, and police are appealing for help to identify

three men captured in CCTV, along with the vehicles involved.
