The story is about a high school bus that gets stranded in the desert. The players on the bus are a basketball team, their coaches, and a cheerleading squad. They must defend themselves against the Creeper, a massive monster that appears on Earth every 23 years to feed on human flesh. The monster eliminates them one by one
