00:05Greetings, brothers and sisters in the Lord.

00:09As you are certainly aware, we are living in the end days.

00:13This world has come to the last generation.

00:16We have officially entered the period of repentance.

00:19It's also a confirmation that we are living in the last days of the Age of Grace.

00:24The tragic events and scandals that are happening in our world today

00:28were announced a long time ago, and the worse is still to come.

00:34Nonetheless, there is a silver lining.

00:36The Lord is coming.

00:38So look up, keep watching for His return,

00:41and let your light shine in this world of darkness.

00:45Be the light the devils hate.

00:47Now let's get to the heart of the matter.

00:49Among all the numbers, there is one that reminds the Bible readers

00:54about the enemies of God and the dreadful mass atrocities they will commit.

00:59It's the number 666, also known as the number of the beast.

01:05That number is found in the last book of the Bible,

01:08which is the book of Revelation.

01:10Let's have a look at it.

01:11It's at the end of chapter 13 at verse 18.

01:15Here is wisdom.

01:16Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast.

01:21For it is the number of a man,

01:23and his number is six hundred threescore and six.

01:26For the last two thousand years,

01:28that verse has intrigued most Bible readers and scholars alike.

01:33Through the ages, many are those who tackled that thought-provoking verse,

01:37and they all came up with the most diverse solutions to find out who it is.

01:42They all came up with the most fantastic concoctions of numbers,

01:47acrobatics of letters, and twistings of names to come up with the number 666.

01:53Many are the people who thought they were the 666.

01:58Can you tell what they all have in common?

02:00The Holy Spirit shows they all focus their attention on the second part of the verse

02:05while ignoring the first part.

02:07They all take a shortcut, and as a result, they will never get the right answer.

02:13Only wisdom and understanding can unlock this puzzling verse.

02:17Is there a way to get wisdom and understanding?

02:20I think so.

02:22Let us ask a wise man who lived about 4,000 years ago.

02:26The opening of the book of Job, chapter 1, verse 1.

02:29There was a man in the land of Uzzi whose name was Job,

02:33and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God and eschewed evil.

02:39Let's hear what Job has to say about wisdom and understanding.

02:43Let's go further in the book of Job to chapter 28, verse 28.

02:49Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.

02:55Now let's hear another wise man.

02:59King Solomon was the wisest man of the ancient world.

03:02Here's what he had to say about it.

03:04It's written at the opening of the book of Proverbs, in chapter 1, verses 1 to 7.

03:09The Proverbs of Solomon, the son of David, king of Israel,

03:14to know wisdom and instruction,

03:16to perceive the words of understanding,

03:18to receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment and equity,

03:22to give subtlety to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.

03:28A wise man will hear and will increase learning,

03:31and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels,

03:35to understand a proverb and the interpretation,

03:38the words of the wise and their dark sayings.

03:41The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,

03:45but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

03:48Now, let's go back to the book of Revelation, chapter 13, verse 18,

03:54but this time, let's read it as the ancient wise men would read it.

03:59Here is wisdom.

04:01Here you have God's first requirement.

04:04You must have wisdom.

04:05Let him that hath understanding.

04:08Here you have God's second requirement.

04:11You must perceive the words of understanding.

04:14Count the number of the beast.

04:15Here you have God's third requirement.

04:18You must receive the instruction of wisdom.

04:21For it is the number of a man,

04:23and his number is six hundred threescore and six.

04:27That line is the second part of the verse.

04:30It's God's dark saying.

04:32As we just read,

04:33God has inserted three specific requirements in that verse

04:36before the reader comes to the dark saying.

04:39Does it mean the book of Revelation is a sealed book?

04:42The Lord gave John a specific instruction about that

04:46in Revelation, chapter 22, verse 10.

04:49Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book,

04:53for the time is at hand.

04:55To simplify what we just looked at,

04:57these three requirements act like three filters,

05:01and as such,

05:02they are designed to let pass what is pure

05:04while keeping out the impurities.

05:06These three requirements defeat any attempt

05:09by anyone who takes any shortcut.

05:11In conclusion, let me just say this.

05:14I didn't make this video to show off

05:18to know who has the correct answer to that verse

05:20and who doesn't.

05:22Lately, the Holy Spirit has shed light

05:24on difficult passages of the Holy Scriptures.

05:28I only hope that what the Spirit has shown me

05:31may help those among you

05:32who are searching the deep things of God

05:35with a pure heart.
