00:10I'm just like more moved than I thought. It's been a long road everybody.

01:04Yes, I was in the chess club.

01:11Felt like a really small, tight team.

01:14I mean, it wasn't a whole lot more than the number of folks sitting in here now.

01:17That was the whole company.

01:19I was the 42nd person hired.

01:21This is where we put in all the houses, the trees, you know, paint all the landscape textures on,

01:26everything like that.

01:27Oh my god, I'm wearing the same necklace right now.

01:34That was the first street we made for this game.

01:36That was it. That was the testing area.

01:38Yeah.

01:38I remember all the struggles we went through making it.

01:41This is really important and special for us.

01:44That younger me had no idea what was gonna happen, both with the game and with her own career.

01:51I'd rather add too many and have people complain and take them out.

01:58Very early on in the project, it was clear that this was going to be sort of historic, seminal game.

02:04So if there's any problems, you know, I'm the one in there finding them.

02:08When you haven't heard that person's voice in a long time, it warms my heart.

02:13I guess I didn't know it at the time, but looking back, we were doing impossible things.

02:18I think we hit a core truth. People want to explore.

02:25I like thinking about the four legs. People are not my forte, really.

02:30No panic yet. You guys are waiting for this panic and I don't think it's quite going to come.

02:42I seem a bit stressed.

02:44Imagine the best it could be. It's even better than that.

02:47Watching it actually feels like we were away at summer camp.

02:51A really cool summer, stressful, cool summer camp.

02:55We didn't know we were about to ship Fallout 3 and Skyrim and Fallout 4.

03:24This incredible game is called Elder Scrolls for Oblivion.

03:30This was the first time we ever had that kind of spotlight. Nobody ever put us on the stage before.

03:37We look back at what people really liked about role playing in the first place.

03:40That's a quality mic. Look at that.

03:43It was the 2.0 version of the studio. It is the start of this group of people working together,

03:48making this great game.

03:50It was impossibly hard to do what we wanted to do.

03:55The reward you feel emotionally when you do something really, really hard with a group of people,

04:01you hold on to it 20 years later and we'll be holding on to it for 20 more.

04:05But it's got good epic fantasy demon stuff at the end, which I think the kids like.

04:20How did that hit you after 20 years watching that?

04:23It was as awkward as I thought.

04:28In so many ways, like when I see it and look in the room, it feels the same.

04:44You are the one from my dreams.

04:56You alone must stand against the coming darkness

04:58and close shut the jaws of oblivion.
