00:24franchise to the city of Philadelphia.

00:26We first heard of

00:30the sons of Ben obviously before there was even

00:32a team. We went from

00:348 guys to 60 guys to 500

00:36guys to like holy shit there's a thousand people

00:38in this. I have no idea how this happened.

00:40What you're going to see today for the first time is

00:44the sons of Ben kind of flexing their muscle

00:46a little bit. Also these guys in

00:48blue started appearing

00:50in the strangest places.

00:52We promised you we would bring people.

00:54Now we deserve a team. It was the

00:56third of the sons of Ben that helped

00:58persuade the league to grant this

01:00franchise to Philadelphia. Am I right

01:04You started to hear Chester for the

01:10first time as a place where they would

01:12build the stadium.

01:14A city in crisis. Chester is now

01:16declaring a state of emergency.

01:18When I first heard I thought why Chester?

01:26We have challenges here.

01:28Valence, joblessness type of things

01:30that are not conducive to a normal way of life.

01:32Bad people and drugs as well Chester was about.

01:36You don't dare get off there.

01:38And if you did there's no way in hell you're going to stop

01:40at a stoplight. You're going to tell me

01:42you're going to put my passion soccer in

01:44the place where I really don't want to go.

01:46What would you do?

01:48Would you kiss off an entire city and say

01:50nothing we can do?

01:56Driving through the city seeing the impoverished

01:58parts of it. I decided to do something

02:00to get involved.

02:02We started a charity last year called

02:04Help Kick Hunger to benefit residents of Chester.

02:06We knew a stadium was going to be built in Chester.

02:08We knew that was going to be our home base.

02:10We had to promote Chester.

02:12Had to say that it wasn't a bad place to be.

02:14To show them we are

02:16happy to be their neighbors.

02:18And said hey we're here to help.

02:20What can we do?

02:22It just kind of opened my eyes that

02:24it wasn't just about bringing that soccer team

02:26to Philly. How can we make this area better

02:28and how can we help change their lives?

02:30I mean they didn't have to do that.

02:32They could have just been the sons of Ben.

02:34I don't think they're going to allow Chester

02:36to fall by the waist.

02:38My soccer team is right here

02:40in Chester, Pennsylvania.

02:42I live for this team.

02:44There's no better group of fans than the sons of Ben.
