00:00And you are thriving and doing so good.
00:02Do you feel like your confidence is 100% back?
00:04I still have some things that I have to work on for sure,
00:08but I feel so empowered and so strong,
00:11and I've got so much support, so I do feel a lot better.
00:14Good.
00:15And you feel like Cruz is thriving even more now that the tension has kind of been like...
00:20The peace in my house is something that I feel like is helping him,
00:25it's helping me, it's helping everything,
00:26because whenever I had to deal with that negative energy every day,
00:31I mean, it was wearing on me.
00:32Yeah, of course.
00:32So he deserves a happy mama.
00:34And it seems like he is thriving.
00:36He is.
00:36He's doing amazing.
00:38And what's this been like for you?
00:39I'm sure you've got so much outpouring of love and support
00:42ever since you talked about his autism diagnosis.
00:45What's it been like for you as his mom?
00:47Yeah, so much love and support.
00:49I really want to be a positive advocate for the autism spectrum,
00:52the whole community.
00:54It is very broad.
00:55There's just so much that I'm still learning as I'm going,
00:58and there's so many other parents that have reached out to me
01:00who I can also learn from.
01:02And I think it's just been so beautiful,
01:04and I really want to help other families and mothers
01:06that are going through something like that.
01:08And I think early intervention is key,
01:10and it is super important.
01:12So if people might see different signs and different things early on
01:16because I'm sharing my story,
01:18then if I can help anybody in that way, it would be amazing.
01:21I love that.
01:21What are some big milestones that he's been hitting lately?
01:23Well, he's starting to say a couple more words.
01:26That's great.
01:27Yeah.
01:28So that's, like, really exciting.
01:30I mean, he is just such a good kid.
01:33He's so happy.
01:34He's always smiling and laughing.
01:36And, you know, he's just catching up in his own way.
01:42And it's beautiful to see because whenever you have a kid on the spectrum,
01:46you celebrate every little milestone, you know,
01:49because you wait for it, and then it happens,
01:51and it's, like, the best day ever.
01:52So I'm so proud of him every single day.
01:54I love seeing him on the show, too.
01:56He seems like your little buddy, like your little cuddle bug.
01:59His mom and boy through and through.
02:01Through and through.
02:01My best friend.
02:02I know you said before that this really hasn't brought you and Jax closer,
02:06but has that changed at all?
02:08Do you feel like since you went public?
02:10Um, no, no, unfortunately.
02:13But, like, Jax does help and want to, like, you know, be there for his son for sure.
02:20Like, Cruz is the most important thing for both of us.
02:23It's just difficult co-parenting whenever you're not always getting along
02:26and things like that.
02:27But we definitely both want to be positive, you know,
02:32especially, like, using our platform for the good to help other people.
02:36So that part is good.
02:37And it's something that we're going through together,
02:40but I've also gone through a lot on my own.
02:43And I'm just always going to be his number one supporter and do whatever I can.
