Today Bobby & Zach looked at Yahoo Sports' draft grades for the NFC East. The Commanders, Eagles, and Giants all earned solid ratings, but the Cowboys stood out with their grade. They discussed why Dallas impressed analysts and how their picks filled key positional needs. Zach also compared Yahoo's grades with Dane Brugler's rankings.

00:00Where did the Dallas Cowboys come down with their grade?

00:18Chop, Lulchuk, they were one of the very few teams,

00:21according to Nate Tice, Charles McTown,

00:22that got an A in the NFL draft.

00:25Here's what they wrote up.

00:26They said the Cowboys were able to fill some needs

00:28with players who might be able to make serious impacts as rookies.

00:31Guard Tyler Booker, pass rusher Donovan Ezeraku,

00:34and cornerback Savone Revell.

00:36I've got to get used to saying Savone now.

00:38Savone Revell have a chance to be instant impact starters

00:41with long-term upside for the Cowboys.

00:43Dallas added three players who many draft analysts had as first-round prospects

00:46without trading assets to acquire them.

00:49Good process, hopefully good results for what Dallas was able to pull off.

00:52They said the most interesting pick was Tyler Booker,

00:54saying Dallas continued its love for drafting offensive linemen in the first round,

00:57with a bruising guard from Alabama.

00:59Some viewed this as a reach, but Booker is a high-floor player

01:02who can form a hellacious interior group with guard Tyler Smith and center Cooper Beebe.

01:08I will say, the talk from them saying some viewed Booker as a reach,

01:11that's literally just media analysis.

01:14Because I had reached out to different people at different teams

01:17and just kind of said, hey, where did you guys anticipate Booker was going to go?

01:20And universally, every team I talked to said they thought he was going to go top 20.

01:23Yeah, I think 100% the NFL viewed Tyler Booker as one of the best players in this entire draft.

01:28Arguably one of the best linemen, period.
