Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced the formation of an investigation commission after the country suffered extreme blackouts on Monday.

00:08led by the Minister of Ecological Transition, which will be in charge of the input of other

00:13bodies on matters of cyber security, but also on relation with the National Commission on

00:18the markets and competition.

00:25The electrical network engineers are continuing to carry out an analysis of their system.

00:30We hope to receive their preliminary results in the next hours, if not days.

00:35In parallel, the private energy generating companies are carrying out analysis of their

00:39production and management centre telemetries, something which should allow us to get to

00:43know what happened with greater detail in those five seconds which led to the fall of

00:47the system.
