President Donald Trump suggested Thursday that his role in the Abraham Accords could make him a contender for the Nobel Peace Prize, during a meeting with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre at the White House, according to National Desk. The 2020 accords normalized relations between Israel and four Arab nations. Trump has been nominated four times for the Nobel Peace Prize, due to his role in brokering the accords. Trump’s upcoming foreign trip next month to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar is expected to focus heavily on growing the Abraham Accords.
