00:04Stamford Bridge is the historic home of Chelsea Football Club, located in Fulham, West London.
00:10Opened in 1877, it originally hosted Athletics, before Chelsea FC was founded there in 1905.
00:18With a current capacity of around 40,000, it's one of the smaller stadiums among England's
00:24top clubs, but it's packed with character and history.
00:27The stadium has undergone several renovations over the years and features a mix of old-school
00:32charm and modern facilities.
00:35Stamford Bridge isn't just a football venue now, it includes hotels, restaurants and the
00:40Chelsea Museum.
00:41Plans for redevelopment into a larger, state-of-the-art stadium have been on and off, but it's still
00:47the beating heart of West London, along with Fulham Stadium, Craven Cottage.
