02:08Bladesinging is an intricate and elegant art that sees wizards combine their mastery of magic with swordplay.
02:14The singing in the name refers to the sound of a sword being pulled from its sheath, not actual music.
02:20Bladesingers can grace themselves with incredible speed, agility and focus with the new Bladesong ability.
02:27And their penchant for moving fluidly means they can stand tall in the midst of battle,
02:32with a bonus to any constitution saving throws you need to make.
02:35They can dodge attacks with ease, and channel their magic into deadly blows, complete with new spellcasting animations.
02:43These are just four of the twelve new subclasses available with BG3's patch 8 update.
02:49Are you clued in on the other eight?
02:50Check out our full quick guide series for the top notes on each subclass,
02:54but do stick around on our channel from hell for more in-depth insights from the developers
02:59who worked on these, uh, unique new additions to Faerun.
03:02Thanks for watching. Bye!
