00:00Hello street racing fans! Welcome to JDM Japanese Driftmaster tuning presentation
00:10part 2 in which we will focus on building a true grip beast. Our base car will be a
00:17Subaru Impreza WRX STI. It's a four wheel drive racing classic so it perfectly fits our needs.
00:25Let's start with a full body kit as our canvas and expand it with a few custom parts. We're
00:33switching up rims and changing the hood for a carbon one. We add new headlights,
00:38mirrors, a new spoiler and obviously a meaner exhaust pipe. Let's not forget about the interior.
00:46We want to be buying the best available parts which will unlock fine tuning for the car.
00:51Suspension, high-end brakes and tires are possibly the most important upgrades for a grip car so make
00:59them a priority. We also grab a nitro which will be useful on the long straight sections of the races.
01:07Let's set up the car now. Going low with the suspension is not only adding the looks but
01:14also the crucially sought for grippiness. We align the wheels so they don't have too much camber and as a
01:22final touch we stiffen the suspension. This provides maximum grip and is ideal for racing on tracks.
01:32Each car has its own progression level. As you gain experience by driving and racing more and more parts
01:39will become available to you. Experiment with your tuning and make a ride that will fit perfectly to your style.
