I had an idea to create these whirlwind sails. The village that I live in, called Abrath,

was famous at one time as a shipbuilding place. I was aware of some of the names of the ships,

but then I discovered that their fates, the way that they were described, if there were

shipwrecks, were really scarce on that.

This is called Prosperity, which actually had a good wind ending because that was salvaged.

I thought that was really ironic that it should be Prosperity salvaged in 1834.

I wore these on and I've got a big floor rug on.

I thought this one was particularly poignant, which is a ship called Harmony that was abandoned in 1886.
