00:00The story of the Buddha when he saw a sick man, a dying man, an old man and he said now I have chanced upon the truth of life and I do not want to partake anymore and now I am quitting.
00:11See that's a convenient story. It does not happen that way.
00:14The Buddha was for sure an enquirer since long.
00:18It's just that there is something called the last straw on the camel's back.
00:21But it's not the last straw that broke the back.
00:24It's an inferential fallacy to think that Buddha saw something that triggered it.
00:28No, that didn't trigger something. The process was continuously going on.
00:31So we are always spiritual. It's just that our spirituality remains clouded.
00:36And the purpose of life is to clear the cloud, to lift the cloud as much as possible and it's a continuous process.
00:41It's not as if things happen on one particular day.
