00:00And the Seattle Seahawks, in round number three, get perhaps the steal of the draft.
00:07Alabama quarterback Jalen Milrow, the best deep ball passer in this class.
00:14The best athlete, flatly, in this class, regardless of position.
00:20I would have taken a chance on an athlete of this level in round number one.
00:26People will say, whoa, that's wild.
00:28It's not. They did it with Anthony Richardson.
00:31You could say that that hasn't worked out.
00:33He's only started about one game, if I can count him correctly, in Indianapolis.
00:37Jalen Milrow, way more success in Alabama than Anthony Richardson during his time at Florida.
00:44A unique prospect in the reality.
00:46I still believe, Joe, when a prospect like Money Making Milrow comes around,
00:50the league at times doesn't know what to do.
00:53Seattle did, stepped up to the podium, and made a great pick.
00:56Yeah, well, listen, third round, you can't argue taking Jalen Milrow.
01:00Physical specimen, weight room type of guy, just like Jalen Hurts was in terms of his days in Tuscaloosa.
01:06And one of the dominant running quarterbacks that we've seen.
01:09Takes games over with his legs.
01:11Did it in the biggest games possible throughout the last couple of seasons for Nick Saban and Kalen DeBoer.
01:17When you give an opportunity and a seam to Jalen Milrow, he takes it to the house almost every time.
01:23So, in terms of that RPO game, he brings an added dimension that Seattle doesn't have with Sam Darnold.
01:29He is a little bit inconsistent reading coverage and forcing sometimes throws into double coverage and triple coverage,
01:37which leads to turnovers.
01:38He's going to need to work on that.
01:40But sitting behind Sam Darnold, the potentially utilized in, let's say, red zone opportunities, RPO type of looks,
01:48he can have the same success on the ground as Jaden Daniels.
01:51Being that pocket passer, that's where he needs to work on.
01:55Whoa!
01:56I said it!
01:57No, and that's great, but I think we can also count on progression.
02:00I mean, Jaden Daniels fixed one of his huge issues at LSU.
02:04Couldn't win a single important game.
02:05I mean, not a single one of them on his resume while at Baton Rouge, it felt like, at least during the Heisman campaign, for sure.
02:13Won multiple playoff games this year.
02:15Anything really is possible.
02:17Knocked off the number one seed, Detroit Lions.
02:20That's what I'm saying.
02:20He finally did it, right?
02:21The whole Heisman campaign, it's Army, it's Georgia State, right?
02:25It's running the score up on Florida.
02:27Extend, right?
02:28But Alabama, Jalen Milrow beats Jaden Daniels.
02:32And I think those type of gutty victories that we saw.
02:35You know, many, many moons ago, I used to talk about a gutty performance in Lawrence, Kansas.
02:40And that was one where we could tell Caleb Williams had some real juice.
02:44I think I was first on the scene.
02:46A gutty performance in Baton Rouge, anybody could agree.
02:49It's what Jalen Milrow offered not once, but twice.
02:52Honestly, if you put the security camera footage up right now, he might still be running for a touchdown over there in Death Valley.
02:58Ben, you know what I think of the pick.
02:59How about you?
03:00I miss you guys over there, that is for sure.
03:03But, Cap, in the third round, the Seattle Seahawks decide to draft Jalen Milrow, the fourth quarterback in this 2025 draft class, is now off the board.
03:12What led to Seattle's decision to make this selection?
03:14Yeah, and look, this is a different type of quarterback.
03:17Sam Howell, by the way, could run.
03:19He's on the final of his rookie deal, so this is where this comes in, that he could replace Howell as the number two quarterback.
03:24And Milrow, I saw him with his senior ball.
03:26Arm strength is enormous.
03:28Flat out run.
03:29And he's unbelievable with a ball in his hands, but he's got major accuracy issues.
03:33That is why he's a third-round pick, not a late first early.
03:36Completion percentage dropping from the 2023 season to 2024, but 20 rushing touchdowns a season ago in Tuscaloosa, Kev.
03:45Oct maximum, on a checking couple, let's go.
03:50The Luzen.
03:53Louisville.
03:54Fantastic.
03:55I can see last.
03:56What's a 시작?
03:57This is how to UM Dallas, this is how live we complete since we've made a video of COVID.
04:01This is how we got here is what the U.S.
04:04so it's a series of announcements and how we call us, and the U.S.
04:06The U.S.
04:08far that's a descoboperative.
04:09Is it hard to фильм anywhere?
04:09I can see five times if we can see that he's MICHAEL.
04:11That's good, because it's a pretty tough affair.
04:11So I can see this more prophecy.
