00:04Yeah, we asked him, what's the deal with your shirt always being off?

00:09It's like asking, like, a painter why he chose his colors.

00:12I don't know.

00:13He said it originated of, like, he just wanted to have fun doing comedy.

00:16I just started doing it on the road. I thought it was fun.

00:18It would make me giggle and remind me that comedy should be fun.

00:21But he said when he first started getting attention,

00:23he was doing a Showtime special and they were like,

00:26dude, you got to keep the shirt on.

00:28This is back when you changed the channel, right?

00:29OK, right.

00:30And they're like, you're giving them a reason to change the channel.

00:32He was like, no, I can't do it.

00:33So he did it without a shirt.

00:35And they were right.

00:36It was the lowest rated special Showtime had ever done.

00:38No way.

00:39But he posted a clip from that special online.

00:43I posted one of my clips about me getting involved with the Russian Mafia

00:45and robbing a train and it went viral.

00:47And next thing you know, that shirt off became my thing.

00:50And now everyone knows me.
