00:00This is one of the most dangerous walkways in the world, and it's getting a major upgrade.

00:05At over 2,100 meters high, crews are replacing the steel safety cables.

00:10First installed in 2019, these cables have served as lifelines for tourists navigating the narrow cliffside path.

00:17But after six years, wear and tear has taken its toll.

00:20The current maintenance work involves replacing 200 meters of steel cable,

00:25connecting 88 anchor points that support the wooden planks of the walkway.

00:29Getting equipment up here isn't simple.

00:31Some tools make the journey by cable car,

00:33but now drones are delivering equipment like screwdrivers and safety belts straight to the cliffside.
