Google says AI could save you a week’s worth of work

A new report also showed it could help create billions of dollars in economic growth.

00:04every year. In a new report released by the tech giant, it was revealed pilot programs

00:09started in Britain showed the use of AI for administrative tasks could save workers 120

00:14hours a year. It also showed the UK could gain more than $500 billion from AI-driven economic

00:20growth. Google says that taking simple steps like training could help double the number of people

00:25using AI on a daily basis. Another thing that would go a long way in upping usage is permission.

00:31According to a Google executive associated with the report, people wanted permission to prompt,

00:35is it okay for me to be doing this? And so giving them that reassurance was really important.

00:40The report also showed two-thirds of workers had never used artificial intelligence at work,

00:45but Google says that after just a few hours of training, workers were using the technology at

00:49double the rate and were still using it several months later. That'll do it for your daily briefing.
