00:00In the snowy town of Moose Lake, Minnesota, lived Blue, a rare blue macaw who didn't know how to

00:06fly. He lived a cozy life with Linda, the kind bookstore owner who had raised him since he was

00:13a chick. Life was simple and safe, just the way Blue liked it. One day, a bird expert named Julio

00:22arrived with shocking news. Blue was the last male of his species, and he needed to travel to Rio de

00:28Janeiro, Brazil, to meet the last female, Jewel. Reluctantly, Blue and Linda packed their bags

00:35and headed off on a journey that would change their lives. In the heart of Rio, Blue met Jewel,

00:42a fiercely independent macaw who loved the sky and freedom. She didn't understand Blue's calm,

00:49pampered ways, and he was more afraid of flying than anything. But before they could get to know

00:55each other, smugglers kidnapped them to sell them on the black market. Chained together,

01:02Blue and Jewel managed to escape, but they had to navigate the wild streets of Rio while still

01:07stuck to each other. With the help of some feathered friends, Raphael, a romantic toucan,

01:13Pedro and Nico, a fun-loving canary and cardinal duo, they set off on a daring escape.

01:19Through samba-filled carnivals, favelas, and lush jungles, Jewel tried to teach Blue how to fly,

01:27but he struggled with his fears. He missed Linda and the safety of his quiet life. But as they grew

01:34closer, Blue started to feel something new, the thrill of freedom and maybe even love.

01:41Meanwhile, Nigel, an evil cockatoo working for the smugglers, was hot on their tail. With the help of

01:48some scrappy street kids, Linda and Tulia raced to find Blue before it was too late.

01:54In a dramatic showdown on the smuggler's plane, Blue found his courage.

02:00As Jewel fell from the aircraft, Blue leapt after her and finally, miraculously, flew.

02:07Together, they soared through the sky, free at last. Back in Rio, Blue and Jewel chose to stay,

02:13starting a new life in the rainforest. Linda and Tulio opened a bird sanctuary.

02:22Blue discovered that flying wasn't just something birds did, it was something he was born for.

02:28And so, the scared macaw from Minnesota became the hero of his own story,

02:33with the wind beneath his wings and Jewel by his side.
