Tool Libraries to inspire 'pride in place' for Hastings community

Innovative new libraries have been launched for the Port Macquarie-Hastings community.

00:13stemmed from and why it's important for this community? Yeah this idea stemmed about two

00:18years ago at a meeting with the Neighbourhood Centre. We were identifying that prices had

00:25gone up, people were struggling to buy tools, store tools and or afford to pay for their lawns to

00:31get done and as a community housing provider we know that there's not many not much leftover funds

00:39so we thought Tool Library would be the best idea for community to be able to mow their lawn and

00:46just have a pride in their yard.
