00:00If you're trying to get better at something and it feels like nothing's working, listen to this.
00:05The problem isn't you. It's how you're trying. You don't need more effort. You need this one rule
00:11and it changes everything. So what happens to most people is they think learning or improving
00:17is a sprint. They go all out one day, but then burn out or forget about their goal the next.
00:23An example of this is someone studying for hours one day a week and then skipping the rest of the
00:30week. This is the root of the problem. You're going for intensity, not consistency. If you really want
00:37to get better at something, you have to go for consistency. No matter what, consistency always
00:43beats intensity. You don't have to push yourself to the limit for hours in one day. Instead, do a
00:50little bit every day. Think of it like a baseball game. If you miss twice, you're in a two strike
00:55hole. But with consistency, you don't have to worry about that. Every day counts. Once you start
01:01repeating something daily, you'll start creating habits. And here's the thing. Your brain learns
01:07better in small, consistent pieces. Believe it or not, you're becoming a better person by doing a
01:13little bit each day. So how do you actually find consistency? Well, here's something that works for
01:19me. Make it so small you can't fail. What I mean is, start with something so easy that it's
01:26impossible not to do it. For example, if you want to get better at push-ups, start with just a couple
01:32a day and build up from there. I've said it in a past video and I'll say it again because it's that
01:38important. Keep showing up. Motivation is important, but consistency is even more important.
01:44I hope you guys enjoyed the video and remember this one word that'll take you far, consistency.
