'Liquid tells to melt down back to myself’ is a monologue based on autofictions narrating the fluidity of my Mexican and Reunionese origins. The way those stories evoke my roots using the element of water is based on the concepts of hydrofeminism and the Mexica philosophy of happiness trough error aceptance, "Slippery, slippery, is the earth." The narration is accompanied by movement, manipulating the ice cube until eventually shattering it. With this effort, I search to be channeled trough the discomfort of the cold while compromising to a remembrance act.

The ice house was originally made in group, under the project name of 'how to feel at home in an ice house?'.The idea of creating an ephemeral sound sculpture was born from discussions shared around the topic of the resistance in self-organized cultural spaces.
The conversation was discussed between artists and facilitators at a popular DIY underground space in Berlin, 90mil. The sculpture is also an extension of thoughts upon the precarity of living in major cities due to the privatization of housing, inflation and non-limitation of gentrification waves.
