Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg said Wednesday that Chinese airlines have halted deliveries of new aircraft due to trade tensions, according to the Hong Kong Free Press. Ortberg noted that if the tariff-driven pause persists, Boeing will begin remarketing the planes to other carriers. Boeing had planned to deliver around 50 planes to China in 2025. Boeing reported a narrower first-quarter loss of $123 million as revenue rose 18% to $19.5 billion. The company reaffirmed plans to increase commercial plane production while strengthening safety measures after past crashes and incidents.
