Glastonbury Festival goers have revealed their top tips for getting tickets ahead of tonight's resale - including trying AFTER the "sold out" announcement.

Coach tickets - including transport and entry - will be available from 6pm tonight (24) and resale of general tickets is on Sunday morning.

Festival-goers on social media have offered tips on how they think you can best maximise your chances - including using several devices to queue for tickets, teaming up with friends and family or even trying to buy tickets after the 'sold out' announcement .

Blogger 'Where's Holly' shared some tips on how to "nail" the Glastonbury resale.

She said to start with the basic trick - registration - followed by forming a group of friends and getting organised.

As stated in her blog she said: "The more people in your corner, the better your odds in the Glastonbury resale.

"Create a detailed spreadsheet that includes each person’s name, registration number, postcode, and the payment method you’ll use."

She also recommends using a a mix of devices including laptops, phones and tablets and to connect them to different sources of internet.

Holly said: "The updated ticketing system assigns queue positions randomly, but a solid setup increases your chances of success. Test your internet speed beforehand and, if possible, upgrade to a faster connection."

Holly explained that it is important to stay calm to improve the chances of getting tickets.

She added: "Use your group’s spreadsheet to avoid panic when entering details. Have everything ready to copy and paste.

"Stick to one tab per device, as Glastonbury’s anti-bot software is strict."

That Festival Blogger also suggested to be in a group of friends, to have multiple browsers and devices and everyone's details to hand in order to maximise chances to get tickets.

She added that it's crucial to close all unnecessary programs or apps running in the background.

"To make your device run as fast as possible and to avoid any unwanted pop-ups or interruptions, close all extra tabs and apps from running in the background.

"You don’t need your Spotify, Instagram or Netflix open right now – PRIORITIES PEOPLE!!," she explained in her blog.

On TikTok, Dan Thomas (@danthomasuk) said he got tickets for the event after organisers announced it was sold out - and he shared the tricks with his followers.

In the video he clamed when festival owners tweet saying the event is sold out "you can come back and buy tickets 10, 15 or 30 minutes later".

In the video he said: "If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I would not believe it - you can buy Glastonbury tickets well after it says it's sold out.

"When you see the sold out message or message saying tickets are allocated you can try clicking back in your browser and submitting the form again. You can also try refreshing the page."
