Surah An-Nas is a beautiful and powerful du'a (prayer) asking Allah for protection from the whispers of Shaytan (Satan) and all forms of evil – especially those that affect the heart and mind.

Structure:
The surah calls on Allah with three of His names:
1. Rabb an-Nas (Lord of mankind)
2. Malik an-Nas (King of mankind)
3. Ilah an-Nas (God of mankind)
Then it seeks refuge from:
The whisperer (Satan)
Who whispers into the hearts of people
Whether from jinn or humans

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to recite Surah An-Nas, along with Surah Al-Falaq and Surah Al-Ikhlas, every morning and evening for protection.
