01:59your dad must have been so proud i mean he always is with whatever i do my dad is always

02:03you know the best i can never ask for it super super your dad is an old friend but he's not old

02:11he's young and he's one of the best people in the industry he's so loud thank you thank you

02:16you know that of course um you know ever since i was a kid i've always wondered that you know why

02:26there's so many people taking pictures of my dad why are people always questioning me about my dad

02:31even growing up that was one of the reasons why i don't think i've ever told you why i had to move

02:35to the states um growing up i was always asked by my teachers where's your dad where's your dad if you

02:41know like i always question uh if you're not gonna bring your bring your dad to to school then maybe

02:46you're not actually his son because i was not publicly known at the time yet okay so isa sa mga

02:51dahilan kung bakit ka pumunta ng america was because of that yes uh you were always piolo's

02:56son talaga nangyari na pag hindi mo din nalang tatay mo hindi kami maniniwala hindi ka anak

03:01ni piolo pascual it happened it happened when i was uh in first second third grade

03:06before i moved to the states okay but there were other reasons not just that um maraming

03:11uh rason i mean syempre yung magulong gusto nila ko bigyan ng normal na na childhood okay

03:17um but para sa akin i think that was one of the main reasons uh i was not publicly you know um

03:25announced na anak ako ni piolo uh not until i was did you want to be announced uh hindi naman

03:32sa ganun i mean as a young kid naghanap ganas hindi ko hindi ko siya hinanap eh para sa akin

03:37mas na curious ako kung bakit bakit sikat yung tatay ko bakit ang dami kong tanong na bakit

03:42bakit bakit ganito yung tatay ko bakit ah kasi panganakasamundo di ba parang ano yung normal

03:49sa hindi normal pero you were not getting answers uh uh katanungan bakit sikat siya bakit pinagkakaguluhan

03:55siya sino ba siya i just learned it through the way i mean that para sa akin siguro parang uh

04:01my dad lagi siyang present sa buhay ko hindi siya naging from the very beginning

04:05from the very beginning he was always always present yeah and um you know even during his early years in his

04:11career kami ni nang nanay kami mam um we were always there pag pag may shooting siya taping siya

04:17nandun kami pero yung mga closest friends lang ni papa yung may alam tungkol sa akin

04:22and um and i met your mom today for the first time yes i'm surprised i'm surprised

04:27i know sa unang pagkakataon po na meet ko ang mamo pero i must uh pay tribute i mean uh i admire her

04:35so much na kahit gaano kapablik ang uh ang kanyang anak halimbawa uh si piolo

04:43she remained and she chose to be at the back and that takes a lot of strength

04:50oh yeah um ang daming actually daming beses sa buhay ko na ang daming nagtatanong pwede mo namin

04:56may interview nanay mo pwede pwede mo namin siya mag-guess si mami is gusto niya na mas mas

05:04yung sa amin yung privacy namin sa amin na lang yan pero totoo ba in an interview you were

05:09quoted to have said ang daming nagpipresenta maging nanay mo sobra

05:14sobra ano yung hindi mo malilimutan kwento na somebody came to you and said alam mo

05:20ako ang nanay mo minsan isa sa mga hobbies ko magbasa ng mga uh request um uh direct messages

05:26request meron akong mga nababasa na talagang may full-on backstories sila na yung tatay mo ganito

05:32ganyan kaya ito'y nangyayari ito sa akin parang ah ang daming kong nanay

05:37plus meron sa mga shows of course na oh ako yung totoong nanay mo parang okay po ang daming niyo po

05:43uh but um it's something that i've i've learned to get used to and my dad is my dad is my dad you

05:50know alam mo inigo sorry to cut you there pero alam mo na halimbawa walo pito walo sa mga

05:56baba yung tatanungin halimbawa kung sino ang pinakakrush nila sino ang the most gorgeous man in

06:00this country uh mga seven to eight out of ten would say piolo pasqual you realize that yeah

06:07and grow and fast forward halimbawa to the last years of i mean you know like you're now 25

06:135 26 or whatever thank you halimbawa ito mga last years doesn't it bother you na ah

06:22ikinukumpara ka halimbawa sa tatay mo para po sa akin i mean i've answered this many times i mean all

06:27my life and i've always seen it the same exact way ever since um para sa akin hindi ko siya maitatanggal

06:34sa buhay ko sa pagkatao ko kung sino ako kasi wala naman ako sa mundong to kung wala yung tatay ko

06:39tama magulang ko um para sa akin hindi siya obstacle hindi siya hindi siya problema kasi

06:48wala naman ako dito sa industriyang to kung wala rin naman yung tatay ko para sa akin it's an honor

06:52that i get of course it's a good shadow it's an it's an honor to be compared to my dad it's an honor

06:56that i for somehow for some reason and kung kung i mean i don't know if i if i'm able to live up to it

07:03pero to even be compared to papa p you know it's i know but but in terms of kagwapuhan you're

07:09gorgeous you're very good you're very good but you're not comfortable talking about it

07:14no man no man super super what does he say he's very shy when people talk about you know when you talk to

07:20your father to your dad about his being guapo he's the first one to cringe he's not comfortable

07:26talking about it para sa kanya ordinary lang siya piolo if you're watching you're not okay

07:31sa akin mas sa mga kaibigan mas ipinagmamalaki kung pa si papa na ito yung tatay ko can you believe it

07:37this is my dad like he looks like my older brother for me that's more of a bragging right than uh

07:43of course hindi siya hindi ko siya ikinakahiya na but that's not to say that you're not good looking

07:48i mean guys come on pero ito um pag-usapan natin because saan ka ba talaga magbebase

07:54dito sa pilipinas o sa maynila for now right now i'm going through that's a mean material

08:04i'm going through a tito i'm going through a phase where i took my time in the states but i'm

08:08deciding to come back here and you know um really make sure that i get to do as much projects that i

08:15that i can here in the philippines right here's my life here's my son and um you know i'm not gonna

08:22you're not gonna leave not gonna leave but also at the same time whatever opportunity that i can

08:26take in in in the states i will i'll grab it and you have a movie yes fatherland yes

08:32you play alex de la cruz ganda i mean in search of a father umuwi dito uh humugot ka ba

08:39sa kwento mo yes uh doon ka humugot siyempre i mean like what i said growing up

08:44ang dami kong tanong sa sarili ko ang dami kong tanong sa tatay ko sa buhay ko bakit magkahiwalay

08:49yung magulang ko bakit sikat na sikat yung tatay ko bakit kailangan ko bakit kailangan

08:52kong mag-aral sa abroad and just like alex uh my character wala siya masyadong natatandaan

08:59tungkol sa childhood niya so hindi niya matandaan yung tatay niya nung namatay yung

09:58manager mo or ng handler mo uh susunduin ka pero ikaw lang talaga pupunta mag isa sa set

10:03and syempre ako first experience ko yun tas hindi ko

10:08nag audition po ako nag audition po ako okay um and everyone was so nice as in kung ano yung kung

10:13ano yung parang pamilya na treatment natin dito ganon din

11:17where i'm doing i'm gonna be the lead for it wow so i'm excited um still doing auditions

11:23non-stop i mean non-stop auditions the last time i was with my dad uh we talked about how

11:28many auditions i've done 25 total auditions wow wow so it's you can you can imagine i've only

11:33landed two or three it's hard thank you i mean you deserve a lot you just as a nice guy you're

11:41very very talented and even in your music career uh kung saan kadalhin gawin mo thank you but let's
