One bright morning, Masha was skipping through the forest when something shiny caught her eye.

Buried beneath a pile of autumn leaves was a long, twisty stick with sparkling carvings and a glowing tip.

It looked just like a wand from a fairy tale.

Wow! A real magic wand!

Masha gasped, eyes wide with excitement.

Without hesitation, she waved it in the air and shouted,

Abracadabra, something fun!

To her amazement, the nearby pine trees suddenly grew pink cotton candy branches.

Delighted, Masha rushed through the forest, casting silly spells on everything she saw.

The birds began singing pop songs, the river flowed with chocolate milk, and the flowers started dancing in perfect rhythm.

Even Bear's quiet cabin wasn't safe.

Masha turned his tea kettle into a singing dragon and made his furniture bounce like trampolines.

Bear, who was just trying to enjoy his afternoon nap, woke up in a panic to find his house completely magical and totally upside down.

Masha, he groaned, rubbing his eyes.

What is going on?

Masha giggled and showed him the wand, proud of her magical masterpiece.

But when she tried to fix things with another spell, the wand sparked and zapped a cloud, causing it to rain glitter all over the forest.

That's when she realized she had no idea how to undo any of her spells.

Worried, Masha ran to the wise old owl, who explained that magic is fun, but it must be used carefully and with responsibility.

Owl handed her a special book of spells with the words,

To fix the forest, you must work together.

With Bear's help and lots of teamwork, Masha went from tree to tree, animal to animal,

Carefully reading the right spells and setting everything back to normal.

By sunset, the forest was peaceful again, and Bear's house no longer bounced like jelly.

Masha sighed, hugging the wand one last time before Owl safely tucked it away.

That was magical and messy, she laughed.
