00:00In the news this morning, a powerful line of severe storms that moved across the area early this morning prompted tornado warnings in our area and a tornado watch for everyone until 7 a.m. The overnight watches and warnings are technically still in effect, but the storm is on its way out.
00:15So the warnings may expire earlier than 7 a.m. I also heard a number of 500 lightning strikes reported in our area.
00:25Yeah, the storm brought down tree branches and power lines and caused flooding in many areas.
00:31By the way, just to recap, that audio is a guy who literally looked down the street and he saw a funnel cloud and just freaked the hell out.
00:41Oh, my God!
00:42Tornado!
00:43Tornado!
00:44Oh, I forgot me to read this today.
00:45Oh, my God!
00:47Tornado!
00:48Tornado!
00:49Tornado!
00:50Tornado!
00:51Tornado!
00:52Tornado!
00:52They do say, though, in a similar situation, the best thing to do is panic.
00:57Yeah.
00:59Tornado! Tornado! Tornado!
01:00Or put on some dance music.
01:01Yeah, absolutely.
01:02Tornado! Tornado! Tornado! Tornado!
01:06Tornado!
01:08So what did you guys experience?
01:10I woke up in the middle and I just, I heard a gust of wind and I'm like, it kind of woke me up for a moment.
01:16Did I just hear that or did I dream that?
01:18And then I kept hearing it and so I have a little sound machine, you know, a little...
01:23Right.
01:23Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:24So I just turned that up a little bit more and went back.
01:26Here's my sound machine is...
01:28Tornado! Tornado!
01:31I yelled at...
01:32Oh, my God! Tornado!
01:34I yelled at the cats because I thought they were behind the entertainment center playing with lawyers.
01:39I'm like, what is that?
01:40And it was rain pelting against the window.
01:43I got up and there's no cats in the room.
01:46Oh, it's the weather.
01:47It was the emergency alert that kind of freaked me out a little bit.
01:49Yes, on the phone, right?
01:50Where it said, take cover.
01:52Yeah, shelter in place.
01:53Take shelter, yes.
01:54What, on your phone?
01:55Yeah, check with local media.
01:56Emergency alert, yeah.
01:57Emergency alert.
01:58Like, first my wife's went off and that woke me up and then mine went off.
02:04And that was about 3.45, I think.
02:06No, it said, warning until 3.45.
02:10Oh, until...
02:10It was about 3 in the morning.
02:12Okay.
02:12Do you sleep with your lights on?
02:13Is that how that woke you?
02:14You said that's the lights went out and that's when you woke up.
02:19No, no.
02:19Is that what I said?
02:20I don't know.
02:20No, the alarm.
02:21You know when you get, like, a weather alert on your phone?
02:24It makes a sound.
02:24I thought he just said the lights went out and that's when I woke up.
02:27Anyway.
02:27I have the same situation.
02:29I leave my lights on and when the alarm goes off, it shuts the lights off.
02:31I don't recall saying that, but that's not...
02:34Damn you!
02:35If I didn't say that, that's not what I meant to say.
02:38Understood.
02:39Understood.
02:39I was confused.
02:40I was a little confused.
02:41So, anyhow...
02:42Oh, my wife's went off.
02:44That's what I said.
02:45My wife's phone went off.
02:47I thought you said my lights went off.
02:48Yay!
02:49We figured it out!
02:51We're already off to a good start.
02:53We CSI'd that bitch.
02:54Does anybody know around what time?
02:55I didn't even look at the clock.
02:56Around what time?
02:573 a.m., 3.15, yeah.
02:58Oh, wow.
02:59Well, at my house, it swipes out at 11.
03:02Yeah.
03:03So...
03:04Right.
03:05Yeah.
03:06All right.
03:06So, afternoon winds will be gusty and could put more debris on the roads today and tonight.
03:11The storm bringing in cooler weather like Preston mentioned and those heavy winds.
03:14I'm sorry to keep pointing things out, but Casey, you're waving yourself like you're in a Baptist church right now.
03:19It is so freaking hot in here, dude.
03:21I have to.
03:22He's got a letter that he's waving like he's got the vapors.
03:24Oh, Jesus.
03:25Oh, dear Lord.
03:26I've got to put up my preserves later on, Miss Celia.
03:29I've got the vapors.
03:31Why can't it just be a normal temperature in here?
03:33It never will.
03:34No, no.
03:34It's either going to be Arctic or Sahara.
03:37Honestly.
03:38It's like an alien race is terraforming the planet.
03:42What the hell's going on with this?
03:44Because, listen, I'm good.
03:45I'm fine.
03:45But even I sense it's a little tropical in here.
03:49I mean, check this out.
03:50I can go on my phone right now, and I can change the exact temperature at my house, which is miles away from here.
03:58I have the thermostat right next to me, and I can either go hot or cold.
04:02Or freezing.
04:03I'm not sure it would work, though.
04:05I'm not sure it would work.
04:06It won't.
04:06They're disconnecting a lot of stuff around here as they're doing the rebuild.
04:09Seriously.
04:10But don't blame it on that.
04:12It's always been that way.
04:13It's like the Winchester mansion here, Preston.
04:15There's just doors that disappear and hallways that end nowhere.
