00:00So, I just looked and we're officially 50 days away from Dancing Stars of Augusta.
00:07That is the show that's going to be at the Columbia County Performing Arts Center on May 4th.
00:11It is a fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Association and I'm going to be dancing on stage that night.
00:18And it's been quite the journey so far.
00:21I just got asked back in January and I am about to go into my second session with my dance partner.
00:28We did start working on choreography last week and he texted me earlier this week.
00:34Said he was looking forward to us meeting today and that he had some new stuff for me.
00:38So, I'm really excited.
00:40Cannot wait to see like what he's got planned and yeah, we still have to pick out costumes and all kinds of crazy stuff.
00:47So, a lot to do in the next 50 days but I'm going to keep you guys posted and yeah, I'm going to go get changed and get ready to dance.
00:58Alright guys, so I just finished my second practice with my dance partner Daniel and it went really good.
01:20There were a couple times I did get tripped up over my own two feet and couldn't remember if I was going forward or backward or where my feet were supposed to be.
01:28But overall, it went really, really good.
01:30We've added a lot to the dance.
01:32We've got two practices scheduled for next week along with a video shoot that we have to do for the show.
01:39So, that's going to be fun and yeah, I think it's coming together really, really nicely.
01:43We talked a little bit about costumes today.
01:45We talked about shoes, just a lot of cool stuff and I'm so, so excited.
01:50I cannot wait until it's like finished and we really polish it up and get it ready for the show.
01:56But yeah, so practice number two under my belt.
01:59Feeling a lot better about it and we'll see how next week goes.
