00:00Hi there, it's Debra from Golden Bee Tarot and Reiki. Welcome to the January

00:043rd edition of Tarot Tuesday. This month we are working with the Cats Rule the

00:09Earth Tarot by Katherine Davis and Tiago Correa. It's time now to close your eyes

00:16and turn your attention inward. Take a deep breath in through your nose, hold

00:21for a brief pause, then slowly release your breath. Continue to breathe evenly

00:27with eyes closed until you feel calm and centered. Then open your eyes and connect

00:32with the cards. When you're ready, choose the card you feel most drawn to, or perhaps

00:38two cards for a deeper message. Now that you've chosen your cards, let's take a

00:47look at the reveal. Card number one, five of wands reversed. The five of wands in the

00:57reversed position finds you moving into this new year with a new outlook. After

01:02taking a good hard look at various relationships and circumstances from the

01:06previous year, you have come to the realization that a lot of your energy was

01:10wasted, dealing with competition, pettiness, and senseless drama. This year,

01:15your intention is to squash any conflicts before they start, and to work towards

01:19harmony and fostering a sense of teamwork and shared goals. This may require you to

01:25be the bigger person and put aside your own ego in favor of the greater good. Taking

01:30on the role of peacemaker will ultimately create more serenity in your daily life.

01:35Card number two, eight of wands reversed. The new year begins with both Mars, the planet of action and desire,

01:46and Mercury, planet of communication and information in retrograde motion.

01:52We are also in the winter season, which is normally a time of quiet and turning

01:57within. If it feels like life has come to a standstill and you're not making any

02:02progress, it's best to stop pushing and take a break. The eight of wands in the

02:06reverse position reinforces the idea of pulling back and pausing activity. It reflects

02:12slow progress and a lack of energy. Honor this period by leaning in and allowing

02:17yourself time to rest and dream. Reserve your energy now, so you can take

02:22directed action later this month.

02:30the lovers. This first week of the new year finds you actively in the process of

02:36making decisions which will create more harmony, joy, and cooperation in your

02:40relationships. Last year brought many lessons around how you connect and bond

02:45with others. You now understand that in order to create lasting partnerships, you

02:50must be crystal clear in your own choices first. A period of soul searching has

02:55helped you to clarify your own values and beliefs, which in turn has allowed you to

03:00show up for others as your most authentic and genuine self. You are finally ready to

03:05bring honesty, compassion, and respect to all of your partnerships. Love for
