00:00Hey, what's up y'all? It's Dub. We are three weeks away from the 2022 Kicks 99 guitar pulls.

00:07I got to share some more guitar pull memories with you. I got to get them all in while we can.

00:11So let's go back to 2015. This is one of my favorite guitar pulls. In 2015, we had two of

00:18the biggest stars, two of the hottest stars on the same show. Now let me take you first back

00:22to 2014. There was an artist that I kept telling T and O'Kelly, I said, look, we need to try to

00:28get this guy. He was really on the come up. He was riding a hot streak. I said, this would

00:32be a great guy. They tried to get him. He wasn't available for 2014. So when we started planning

00:36the show for 2015, I said, listen, there's a guy that y'all got to get, please. That guy

00:42was Thomas Rhett. They got Thomas Rhett for 2015. It's his only Kicks 99 guitar pull performance.

00:49We need to change that. Thomas Rhett, you need to come back. All right. It's been too long.

00:53But there was another artist that played in 2015 that was on an even hotter streak than

00:59what Thomas Rhett was. I mean, Thomas Rhett was riding a hot streak in 2015, but Sam Hunt

01:03was the hottest thing in country music in 2015. I mean, he had released Montevallo in the fall

01:09of 2014. And in that year between fall of 2014 and guitar pull 2015, leave the night on, take

01:17your time, break up in a small town. I mean, all those hits, just one after another, after

01:21another, we booked Sam Hunt on guitar pull 2015. So we had Sam Hunt and Thomas Rhett on

01:26the same show. That was insane. That was two of the hottest artists, two of the most popular

01:30artists on the same stage at the same time. Nobody else was doing that. We had some really

01:34cool other artists on that show that year. Craig Morgan was on that show, did a killer

01:38job. Jana Kramer, Maddie and Tay, Jared Neiman. Everybody was having a blast. I remember all

01:43of y'all coming out to ticket stops that year. We had some record breaking crowds at the stops.

01:48I remember Maddie and Tay going down and hanging at the children's hospital downtown with the

01:52kids that year. It was a big year. It was a big party, just like it always is. I'm going

01:57to find some video from 2015 and tag it right here so that you guys can kind of relive some
