00:00The dirty honey is on the rat. Dave's got the lusty Hollywood news now. Celebrity police blotter and injury report. What's up, man?
00:06Well, Kanye West is doing Kanye West type activities right now.
00:11In other words, just crazy?
00:12Yeah, crazy. He's decided to sell his clothing collection in garbage bags as a statement for, actually, he says, as a concern for the homeless.
00:26A homeless concern for Kanye West?
00:28Homelessness. It's a comment on homelessness.
00:31I appreciate that. Is he doing anything to help the homeless?
00:35Nah, that's where we get murky and it gets confusing.
00:39See, a lot of Kanye's ideas are confusing and you try to understand.
00:43So you say, okay, I get it. The trash bags and stuff like that.
00:47But then it's like, that makes no sense.
00:50First of all, the clothes aren't on display then.
00:52How are you supposed to even see them?
00:54So you pick them up off the shelf in a trash bag?
00:59No, they're in the gap in trash bags.
01:01So it's like you've got to go and sift through the garbage bag.
01:05They want me to be a homeless person in the gap just to buy the clothes.
01:10Right.
01:10So I can get the homeless experience.
01:12Just what I've always wanted.
01:13I've spent my whole life trying to avoid that.
01:17They said that Kanye even was upset.
01:23He went by one of the gaps and was upset when the sales associate saw his clothing on hangers.
01:31He said, no.
01:32No.
01:32No, no, no, no.
01:33It's garbage bags.
01:35Yeah.
01:35So again, though, it's just a pile of clothing in a garbage bag and you haven't bought it.
01:42Yeah.
01:43How do I know what to buy?
01:44You don't even know what's in it.
01:45Right.
01:45Not to mention, you see some of the stuff that he wears?
01:48Should be in a garbage bag.
01:52It's strange.
01:53If I wanted to have the homeless experience, I'd quit my job, stop paying my mortgage, and there I got it.
02:00George R.R. Martin is the writer of the Game of Thrones books, and he said, I have given up predicting when I'm going to wrap up the Game of Thrones books.
02:12It's pretty amazing.
02:13He's still writing the Game of Thrones saga.
02:17He was behind.
02:19I didn't know that.
02:20Yeah.
02:21The show, HBO needed this show to come out already.
02:25So people would criticize Game of Thrones because it would be about a year and a half between seasons, but at the same time, it's because George R.R. Martin takes years between books.
02:39And so that is some of the criticism of where the Game of Thrones, the final season went, because they were largely making up their own season finale and ending of this thing.
02:50So the story continues with the author.
02:54Yeah, so with George R.R. Martin, his Game of Thrones is still going on.
02:59Do you read books at all?
03:02No, I don't think I even saw one episode of Game of Thrones.
03:05That's a terrible, that's a crying shame.
03:08I never got into it.
03:09Oh my God, what's not to get into?
03:11There's violence, there's sex, there's, I mean, dragons, there's people getting their heads chopped off.
03:17I just can't afford HBO.
03:18Oh, okay.
03:19That's fair.
03:20All right.
03:21Can't afford a TV.
03:22That is fair.
03:23I'm wearing Kanye shoes right now.
03:25All right.
03:26The new, uh.
03:26Got him out of a garbage bag.
03:28The new prequel series for Game of Thrones, and Game of Thrones is in the public eye right now,
03:33because House of Dragon premieres on HBO this Sunday.
03:36I am definitely watching that.
03:39I put that in the DVR.
03:40I cannot wait.
03:41I'll look forward to your review on Monday.
03:43That will be awesome.
03:45And finally, Robert De Niro is going to be back in a mob movie directed by Barry Levinson, who's very, very solid.
03:53Barry Levinson, who did Rain Man, The Natural, Good Morning, Vietnam, and many other solid movies.
03:59That's a pretty good list right there.
04:00Yeah, he's, uh, he's an underrated, uh, very great, uh, director.
04:05And De Niro, here's the one thing.
04:07He's going to be playing two real-life rival mob bosses, Vito Genovese and Frank Costello.
04:14He's playing in both roles.
04:16How the hell is he going to pull that off?
04:18I don't know.
04:19I mean, obviously you can do it these days with CGI.
04:22You know, he acts one way, and then you record him acting another way, and you put him in the same scene, and you can't even tell.
04:29But the thing is, why?
04:31Why is that necessary?
04:33Why have you got another chance to get a big actor?
04:35Right.
04:36Where's your casting director?
04:37That's, he had another chance for a big day.
04:39Casting director took a day off, right?
04:40Like, that's, you have another chance for, if this is about two rival mob bosses, let's get De Niro.
04:47I mean, I know we've seen De Niro and Pacino and Heat and stuff, but maybe De Niro and somebody else.
04:54You know, I don't know, but I mean, yeah.
04:55Why, why, these are two gang heavyweights in Frank Costello and Vito Genovese.
05:03Right, a real story out of the streets in New York.
05:05Yeah.
05:05The Genovese family is one of the five original families in New York.
05:09You know, so it's like, I would love to see the story of Vito Genovese.
05:13And I know about Frank Costello, so I'm totally down for this movie combined with Barry Levinson.
05:19But it was puzzling.
05:21Yeah.
05:21Because you could have gotten somebody huge for that role.
05:25To play against Bobby D, for sure.
05:27Absolutely.
05:27Interesting.
05:28Yeah.
05:28Well, we'll see when that, do we ever, do we know when it's coming out?
05:31Probably not until next year.
05:33That's the Celebrity Police Blatter in New York.
