00:07and today it's this one, Metallica's Ride the Lightning. You might be saying to yourself,

00:12well, you can get that anywhere. Right, but this is an original from 1984. This copy,

00:17this exact copy is the very first record I ever bought. Why would I buy this record? Well, look

00:22at the cover. What kid doesn't want to have a cover with an electric chair on it? I remember

00:26seeing the guys from Metallica open up for Guns N' Roses on that famous tour in 1992,

00:30and they opened up with Creeping Death. I mean, how cool is that, right? I'll admit when I first

00:34bought it, I wasn't crazy about it, but this record's really grown on me. It's one of my favorites,

00:39and of course, pretty much epitomizes Metallica, of course, with the late Cliff Burton. Metallica's

00:44Ride the Lightning.
