00:00I have a funny story out of North Carolina.

00:02You know, the pandemic delayed a lot of weddings last year,

00:04but this couple in North Carolina refused to put theirs on hold for a third time.

00:09Gannon and Christine were supposed to have a big wedding last year,

00:12but of course it was canceled.

00:14So they did a small backyard ceremony,

00:16but they still wanted to have that big reception.

00:18So they planned on it in September, but then Christine got COVID.

00:23Luckily, she's okay, but the venue had to push back the reception to November.

00:27Well, then the morning of the event,

00:28Gannon landed in the hospital with a bad case of food poisoning.

00:32So Christine decided to throw the party anyway.

00:36Uh-oh, how is she going to do that?

00:38Well, she didn't want to do her big entrance at the venue alone,

00:41so she came up with a stand-in.

00:43They took a clothing steamer that had wheels on it.

00:47They used pool cues to give it some structure,

00:50and they dressed it up in a suit and strapped an iPad to the top of the clothes steamer

00:55with a picture of Gannon's face on it.

00:58So when Christine walked in, she was holding a clothes steamer with wheels.

01:03They nicknamed it the Stick Gannon, and the guests loved it.

01:06She even took wedding pictures with it and danced with it,

01:08and a bunch of guests danced with him too.

01:11The real Gannon said at the end of it all,

01:13he said it was probably better because he was a bad dancer anyway.

01:17Oh, man.

01:18I hope that couple stays together after all they went through to get to that point.

01:22The third time.

01:23Well, this old boy down in Louisiana, for some reason or another,

01:27tried to break into a neighbor's apartment about 2 o'clock in the morning.

01:32Tried to open the back door, but it doesn't sound like he got inside,

01:35but the lady who lives in there called the cops,

01:38and this guy decided, well, if he couldn't get in that door, he'd just go back home.

01:42Well, the cops showed up.

01:43They knew who he was, and he admitted,

01:46yeah, I was the one that tried to break in.

01:48So, why did he do that?

01:51Well, he said a big snake told him to open the victim's door and go inside.

01:58Sure.

01:59A large snake.

02:01Now, we know what happened when Eve talked to the snake.

02:04Right.

02:05Well, this guy was talking to the snake for an entirely different reason.

02:09He told the cops, yep, wait for it.

02:12He was smoking a bunch of crack less than an hour before it happened.

02:18That sounds familiar now, doesn't it?

02:19Yep.

02:19And it turns out the guy's got a long rap sheet.

02:22He's facing charges for disturbing the peace and unauthorized entry.

02:26There was nothing in the rule book there about talking to a large imaginary snake.
