00:43He's in retirement years.

00:45And he took a job as an usher at the Braves games.

00:50So he's doing Braves games at Truist.

00:53And he saw my old boss with the thrashers at the game.

00:56And he said hi.

00:57And I was just, it's so funny that you would do this story

00:59because I want to say this.

01:01Like, I have always believed that when they got that team in Atlanta,

01:05we got no players.

01:08Like, do you remember when Vegas got their team in a game like a Stanley Cup team?

01:12They gave them every player in the league went to the Vegas Golden Knights.

01:17I mean, they were like an all-star team the first season.

01:19And they won the Stanley Cup within, what, two years?

01:22So when Atlanta got a team, they got no one.

01:27They were playing with crusty 40-year-old Ray Ferraro and Kelly Bukaboom and whatever,

01:33Bookberg or whoever the hell it was.

01:35All I know is Pear Svart Vodded.

01:38I'll never forget that name.

01:39That's the hacks that they had on this team.

01:41And then I thought, to be honest with you, that's what Seattle got.

01:46They got what they deserved.

01:47No one wants to hear it.

01:49No one up there wants to hear this, but it's true.

01:52Like, why do they deserve some great hockey team up there?

01:55Because they got an expansion team and paid, you know, $500 billion,

01:59whatever for the team.

02:01When you are an expansion team, you should suck.

02:05I don't understand why I had to sit there and go through 57 losses

02:10with a team with no talent, and then now they stack these teams with all-stars

02:16when they give them expansion teams.

02:17I think it's bullshack.

02:19Seattle got what they deserved, a crappy hockey team.

02:24They've obviously been in business for four years now.

02:29They've missed the playoffs three of their four seasons.

02:32Yeah, they sucked.

02:32The one year they made it, they went to the second round

02:34and lost in seven to the Stars, but they've missed the playoffs

02:39The Trashers made the playoffs once, and they got their ass racked.

02:43You know, look, I thought that they had a better team

02:46than some of those old expansion teams like you're referring to,

02:50but not as good as Vegas.

02:51And I still believe that Vegas got a little bit more than everyone else

02:56because they needed that market to be good right away.

03:01I just feel – because they were the first professional league

03:04that ever went into Vegas.

03:06I think that they needed the Vegas market to work,

03:08and I think that they got some players that maybe other teams.

03:15Did they do that in 67 with every team that came into the league?

03:19They let them suffer.

03:22Every single team in the league's history has suffered as an expansion team.

03:26Except Vegas.
