00:00Welcome to Miss Mojo and today we're counting down our picks for the biggest
00:09household names who briefly stopped by Beverly Hills 90210 on their way to the
00:14top. Some plot points will be discussed so watch out for minor spoilers.
00:30Before she was the actress we know today, Longoria appeared as flight attendant number three in a
00:35scene where Dylan, Kelly, and Matt are at the airport looking for Dylan's father.
00:40We had a mix-up with one of our passengers, Eddie Waitkiss. I was wondering if,
00:44do you know Mr. Waitkiss is on the flight?
00:45The flight was completely full. I barely remember my name.
00:48The future desperate housewife is on screen for less than 30 seconds,
00:52so it's certainly a blink and you miss it moment. And while it's definitely surprising to see such
00:57a big star in such a minor role, everybody's got to get their start somewhere.
01:01Is there anybody else that I could ask?
01:03You could check with Kathy, the first class attendant. Kathy, this gentleman has a question.
01:07When asked about the gig in 2016, she laughed saying,
01:11I wasn't even number one or two. I was flight attendant number three.
01:15Hey, that's still pretty good when you consider it was one of her first ever TV gigs.
01:20Look, just work it into the conversation.
01:21There's no way I can just work that in, Carlos.
01:23Why not?
01:23Number 9. David Arquette.
01:26It's only tonight, baby.
01:27Tomorrow it's adios, la la land.
01:31Dennis.
01:31Shh.
01:32Don't let anyone hear you call me that.
01:34Don't ruin my image.
01:35About four years before we got to know him as Dewey in Scream,
01:39Arquette played Dennis Diesel Stone on 90210.
01:43The character is a guitar player and lead singer of a band called Waste Management,
01:48who also happens to be Brandon's girlfriend Nikki's abusive ex.
01:51It's the best day of my life and you're going to bring me down?
01:53Let go of me, Dennis!
01:55I told you not to call me that, didn't I?
01:57Arquette's time on the show comes to an end quickly,
02:00with Brandon putting Diesel in his place within one episode.
02:03We know nobody really thinks Beverly Hills 90210 when they think of David Arquette,
02:08but looking back, he really found a way to embody the despicable character.
02:12You left me for that key?
02:13You know why I left you, don't?
02:15Just get in the car.
02:17You've been drinking all morning, haven't you?
02:19Get in the car, Nikki!
02:20Number 8.
02:21Kyle Richards.
02:23Hi.
02:24I could get some coffee if you need a minute.
02:26No.
02:27Come on then, it's good to see you.
02:28No stranger to the 90210, this real housewife of Beverly Hills briefly dropped by to portray
02:34Anna Murphy.
02:35Anna pops in from New York to surprise Matt with divorce papers from his wife, Lauren.
02:40Yikes.
02:41You said you were here on business, is this it?
02:43You might want to open that when you're alone.
02:45The child actress got her start in the industry in the 70s, so by the time she booked this
02:49gig, she was no stranger to being in front of the camera.
02:53That, plus the fleeting nature of the part, is also why it's not one we associate with
02:57her.
02:58Still, it's fun to think about how Richards was gracing the streets of Beverly Hills on
03:02our screens long before her reality TV days.
03:05I have four children, my scripted show.
03:07I just opened a sixth store, but we know that our marriage and our family are the priority.
03:12So, we're doing the best we can.
03:14Number 7.
03:16Peter Krause.
03:17Honestly, I still can't believe I'm not dreaming.
03:19Hey, chalk on up in the dreams come true department.
03:24She's trying to make her jealous, you know.
03:25For three episodes in 1992, Peter Krause stepped into the shoes of The Blaze's former editor,
03:31Jay Thurman.
03:32Jay and Andrea have a summer fling during his arc, and then attempt an off-camera long-distance
03:37relationship that ultimately leads to Jay ending things via holiday mail.
03:42And you know what they say about conservatives, don't you?
03:46They're lousy lovers.
03:49Who says?
03:51My lips are sealed.
03:53Now, there's no denying that he makes a big impression on Andrea during their time together.
03:58But when we think of Krause, the performances of his that live top of mind are more likely
04:03Nate Fisher on Six Feet Under or Adam Braverman on Parenthood.
04:06Sorry, Jay.
04:07We just didn't know you long enough.
04:10I might still be here when you come back.
04:12Well, I won't be.
04:13Not for long, anyway.
04:14School starts in September, and Evanston, Illinois is a long way from Beverly Hills.
04:19Number 6.
04:20Aaron Paul.
04:21Yeah, you know, as an actor, you have a lot of highs and a lot of lows.
04:25Mainly lows at the very beginning.
04:27In a Season 9 episode, Donna is caught between West Bev drama teacher Mr. Bigelow and former
04:33classmate Ashley, who's accusing him of misconduct.
04:37In the midst of all of this, Aaron Paul is Chad, a student who's been cast as Romeo in
04:42the school play.
04:43Chad, Juliet's the love of your life.
04:47You're filled with passion.
04:49While we may have been charmed by Chad's performance, Paul himself was less than impressed when presented
04:55the clip during a 2013 Tonight Show interview.
04:58Indeed, he reviewed it as awful.
05:00But every role can't lead to an Emmy.
05:03And in such a serious episode, it's a fun surprise to see Jesse Pinkman pop up as a goofy
05:08theater kid.
05:08Wilt thou leave me so unsatisfied?
05:11What satisfaction canst thou have tonight?
05:14Number 5.
05:15Seth Green.
05:17Level 11!
05:17Level 11!
05:18Yeah!
05:21Wait, wait, wait.
05:22I thought you said there were only 10 levels.
05:24We're going where no man's stone before.
05:26In an attempt to take back their power from an indecisive Dylan, Brenda and Kelly agreed
05:31to a blind date with two Princeton men.
05:33Sadly, said dates are not college guys at all and in fact are the polar opposite of what
05:39they had in mind.
05:40One of these boys is none other than Seth Green.
05:42You guys don't really go to Princeton, do you?
05:45Yeah, yeah we do.
05:47We go to the Princeton school in Encino.
05:48Yeah, making boys into men.
05:50In a show that cycled through a plethora of serious love interests, you could be forgiven
05:55for forgetting Adam and Wayne.
05:56But despite the duos just barely making it through one date, Adam and Green's Wayne are instrumental
06:02to the Kelly-Brenda-Dylan love triangle.
06:05Plus, the storyline helps solidify the girls' friendship.
06:08Well, I'm sure we can always get pipsqueak and pipsqueak to take us here every Friday
06:12night.
06:12Yes, but we have to promise not to let these guys come between us.
06:16Never let any guy come between us.
06:18Number 4.
06:19Lucy Liu
06:19How about two eggs, over easy, rye toast?
06:23Anything to drink?
06:25Just water.
06:26Ice?
06:28Sure.
06:28Quest your cubes.
06:31Whatever.
06:32Before she was fighting crime as one of Charlie's angels, Lucy Liu was waiting tables as one
06:37of Nat's waitresses at the Peach Pit.
06:39In Season 2, Brandon desperately needs some cash to fix his car, so he goes to ask Nat for
06:45his job back, only to find that he's been replaced by Liu's Courtney, who's better at
06:50the gig than he ever was.
06:52Need I say more?
06:53I think she's pretty much on top of it.
06:55Yeah, Courtney's a straight-A student from Beverly Hills High.
06:58I really lucked out finding her.
06:59Courtney may not have been there to stay, college awaited after all, but Liu certainly
07:04was.
07:05With this being her first ever TV role, she was able to prove herself and go on to have
07:10a decades-long career as a leading lady in Hollywood.
07:14Isn't it amazing how much information you can learn off of the internet?
07:18Number 3.
07:20Matthew Perry
07:20So whose face is it?
07:23What?
07:24On the ball.
07:25Who are you trying to clobber?
07:29Beverly Hills 90210 was never a show to stay away from difficult subject matters.
07:36The late Matthew Perry appeared in the first season as Roger Azarian, a highly accomplished
07:42student who is secretly dealing with a mental health crisis.
07:45You sound angry.
07:47I won't take orders from him, although he thinks I'd be better off if I did.
07:52What's the point?
07:53It's like I don't exist except as a reflection of him.
07:57In a highly emotional scene, Brandon stops him from taking his own life, which in turn
08:03allows him to get treatment.
08:05Of course, Perry gave everything he had to a tense performance.
08:09But since most folks tend to associate him with the hilarious Chandler Bing, it's easy
08:13to forget he was once a teen at West Beverly Hills High.
08:17It's very riveting.
08:19Well, thanks.
08:21I'll take that as a compliment.
08:22Number 2.
08:23Ashley Tisdale
08:24Wow.
08:26Is that Nicole?
08:27Yeah.
08:29Oh.
08:31Go get her.
08:32Before we were crushing on her as Sharpay Evans or Maddie Fitzpatrick, one of Gina's
08:37young fitness training clients, Michael, was crushing on her as Nicole Loomis.
08:41In this Season 10 episode, Gina helps boost Michael's confidence in life.
08:46It culminates in him being brave enough to approach Nicole.
08:49Do you want to dance?
08:50Sure.
08:55I like your earring.
08:57Her reply is short and sweet.
08:59Hey, it's a small part and Tisdale nails it.
09:02Still, it makes sense that we're more likely to associate the actress with her later Disney
09:07channel work.
09:08But can you blame us?
09:09That's really where she bopped to the top and left a huge mark.
09:12We'll keep stepping up and we just won't stop.
09:15We'll keep stepping up and we'll stop till we reach the top.
09:21Up to the top.
09:23Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.
09:27Christina Aguilera, performing at the Peach Pit like only she can.
09:31I'm a cheaty and a follow.
09:34You can't hold a pizza right way.
09:36Ryan Seacrest.
09:38He fittingly portrays the host of a game show.
09:41Does he sequester you?
09:42Or perhaps hold you in contempt, huh?
09:44Oh no, we don't do that.
09:45But sometimes we play this game attorney-client privilege.
09:48Vivica A. Fox.
09:50As Sharice Ash, she gets into an accident with Brandon, but ends up on a date with him.
09:55If your father's anything like mine, I just might have to be nice to you.
10:00Out of pity.
10:01You won't do me any favors now.
10:02Hey, hey, if it were up to me, we would be having an appointment with Judge Wapner and the People's Court.
10:06Adam Levine.
10:07He and his pre-Maroon 5 band, Kara's Flowers, played at the Peach Pit.
10:12So disco, so charming, see the form of the real kind of you.

10:35Number 1. Jessica Alba
10:37Before she was a huge star, businesswoman, and activist, Jessica Alba was Leanne,
10:43a pregnant teenager who comes into the Wyatt Clinic, where Kelly works in Season 8.
10:48Is there anybody that we can call for you?
10:50You have a boyfriend, a parent?
10:52This isn't supposed to be happening.
10:53It's not.
10:54Young and terrified, Leanne initially ghosts the clinic, leaving her baby behind before later fighting to get him back for bigoted reasons.
11:03Ultimately, though, she realizes she isn't capable of caring for him,
11:07and Kelly is able to convince her to return him to foster parents Kyle and Gene.
11:12I'm going home now.
11:15I'm finally going home.
11:16Alba is known for playing strong, powerful women, but she's just as skilled when it comes to portraying a fragile, naive teen.
11:24I love my baby.
11:26Do you?
11:27Do you really?
11:31Which star were you most surprised to see?
11:34Let us know in the comments.
11:35What truth is stranger than fiction, Brandon?
11:39You mean this is true?
11:40Do you agree with our picks?

12:00Bye.
12:00Bye.
12:00Bye.
12:01Bye.

12:01Bye.
