00:00Karam Trick Shots Anyone can play Karam, but only you can
00:10outsmart the board. As we promised in our previous video, it's time to level up. Let's master some
00:17trick shots that aren't just flashy but can actually win you the game. The straight shot.
00:22We call it the foundation shot because it's the most basic shot in the Karam. Before we
00:29discuss some hard and tricky shots, let's make our basic shots perfect. A straight shot
00:35is the easiest shot that you could take without practice. Just align your striker with your
00:40target coin, then aim directly at the coin and flick with moderate force. Do not hit hard
00:46so that you lose control and do not even flick slow that does not even touch your target.
00:51So practice on the right force of your flick and it's easy. The cut shot. If your coin is
00:57slightly off the center, do not go for a straight shot. A cut shot will fit in this situation.
01:03To take a cut shot, aim slightly at the edge of the coin and flick at an angle. You'll
01:07get a smooth diagonal pocket. There will be less chances to miss your pocket in a cut shot.
01:13The rebound shot. When your target coin is blocked by another coin and it's too close
01:18to the pocket, in this situation you cannot have a straight shot. But you can always have
01:23a rebound shot. It's a bit tricky, but practice makes a man perfect. In rebound shot, you have
01:30to hit the striker off the side cushion to make the target coin angle backwards.
01:35The thumb shot. If your coin isn't stuck near the baseline, do not worry about it. You can
01:41play your thumb shot to pocket your coin. In thumb shots, when your usual flick does not
01:45seem to work, you can use your thumb to take control and move your striker backward. We
01:51also call it a power shot. The double coin shot. One flick, two coins. If two of your assigned
01:59coins are placed together on the carob board, just flick your striker at the right spot to
02:04pocket both of them. Just adjust your right angle and flick with an accurate force. Calculate
02:09your time to flick your striker. The queen cover shot. If you have pocketed your queen, now cover
02:15it with another coin. This is called the queen cover shot. That makes you the winner of the
02:20game. Do not panic and look for the coin that is placed nearby that corner. And strike with
02:25accurate force and pocket your coin to cover your queen. Which trick shot are you trying
02:31first? Try them out. Experiment with angles. And soon, you'll be playing caramata level that
02:37impresses everyone at the board. Let me know if you want to see more videos
