00:05Southtown, the world's most dangerous city.

00:09Here the mighty gather, rising above by virtue of their strength alone.

00:15Among them was the wise master Tung Furu and his two disciples, Giese Howard and Jeff Bogard.

00:24Entangled in a rivalry of strength, Giese murdered his fellow disciple.

00:30Anticipating Jeff would one day oppose his sinister ambitions.

00:37Episode 1. Revenge of the Wolves.

00:42Terry and Andy Bogard, Jeff's adopted sons, swear to avenge his death.

00:49They train diligently for the fateful encounter.

00:53With friend Joe Higashi, they pick their moment to pounce.

00:57King of Fighters. A martial arts tournament held by Giese.

01:08Aware that Jeff's sons have come for him, Giese tries to erase Terry.

01:12Now KOF champion, with his own two hands.

01:16Their furious fight ends with the kingpin falling off Giese Tower to his death.

01:34Episode 2. From death comes more darkness.

01:38Time passes and Southtown settles into a fragile calm.

01:44But those quiet days are shattered by the announcement of a new KOF.

01:50Hosting this tournament is none other than Giese Howard's stepbrother, Wolfgang Krauser von Strahlheim.

01:57Krauser seeks the mantle of world's strongest by hunting down Giese's greatest adversary.

02:22A young boy lives with his sickly mother on the outskirts of Southtown.

03:04Giese is back as if from beyond the grave, and he brings another KOF with him as proof.

04:01At the tournament's climax, Kine reveals a shocking truth.

04:08This compels Rock to join forces with Kine.

04:13He bids farewell to Terry, a young heart in turmoil.

04:25Sometime later, mysterious KOF invitations make their way across the city once more.
