00:22This was an enormous undertaking,

00:28and the scale and scope of it was overwhelming.

00:32I know it's gonna work because it's impossible.

00:39This was the first time we were gonna create a CG character

00:41that could live in a live-action film.

00:43Boom!

00:46We weren't prepared for the backlash.

00:48But because we were all together,

00:53we were going to make this thing work.

00:58Oh, it's a movie based on a theme park ride.

01:02How do you make a story out of that?

01:06The challenge came from Spielberg.

01:07Can you make digital tornadoes?

01:10I didn't want to go down in history as the guy who wrecked Yoda.

01:14No puppet. It's a fully digital character.

01:16The old way of doing things was gonna be gone.

01:20It was all hands on deck.

01:21Everyone worked really hard,

01:23but we also all played together.

01:26So much magic was made here.

01:29ILM was created to do the impossible,

01:31and we continually do the impossible.

01:35We didn't ask permission.

01:36We're just gonna do it.

01:37The work that was done here will live forever.
