00:44it's got like distinct markings you'd think that someone who knows sharks would have come out and

01:02for years given the warnings megalodon is an extinct species that's believed to be the largest shark

01:07and fish to have ever lived sometimes it's estimate that an adult megalodon could have been more than

01:1230 feet in length some say they've been more than 80 feet long so was that an actual megalodon spotted

01:19off new england's coast no the shark scene in the viral video has been identified as a harmless but

01:26still huge basking sharks basking sharks are the second largest species of its kind they can grow

01:32about 26 feet in length is it like uh one of those whale sharks or whatever i've heard of them i don't

01:38know anything about them and he's like the there's always that guy in these movies who's like usually
