Sean on if the Isles Stayed Healthy

Sean questions if the Islanders would barely squeak into the playoffs again if they had stayed healthy this season.

00:00The question is, though, would they have just been another 7-8 seed team that barely gets past the first round?

00:06Because that's not what fans want anymore, either.

00:09It's nice that they've been more successful.

00:11It's nice that they've been making the playoffs more than they haven't.

00:13But the bar's been raised.

00:15And, you know, even those runs to the Final Four, back-to-back, those were great.

00:19I'll never forget those years.

00:20It's probably my best time as an adult watching the New York Islanders, right?

00:24Same.

00:24But we're getting past that era now, and we need to see what they can do to restructure this team.

00:30And, again, like I was saying earlier, maybe it is a blessing in disguise that they didn't make it, that they did have.

00:36Obviously, you don't want anybody being hurt, but maybe those injuries showed management what this team really has

00:42and what it needs to do in order to improve going forward.
