Jet-Puffed is offering a cheaper alternative to egg-dying this Easter

00:00With record high egg prices still plaguing wallets, one company is trying to put a spin

00:04on an Easter tradition. JetPuft has released a marshmallow dyeing kit to try and draw in

00:09customers to color something else for Easter this year. The kit, which costs $1.99, comes with six

00:15vibrant colorings, three pens, an egg crate, tongs, and a bag of marshmallows. A dozen eggs,

00:20meanwhile, has an average price of more than $6. In a press release, JetPuft said the kit was

00:25created so parents could, quote, search for creative and budget-friendly alternatives to

00:30keep the time-honored tradition alive without breaking the bank. The kit is being sold exclusively

00:35on Walmart's website and will be restocked daily. As for the eggs, avian flu outbreaks led to the

00:40deaths of more than 30 million egg-laying birds, causing prices to skyrocket. However, those
