00:00Let's just turn to China. Xi Jinping has been visiting Vietnam to boost ties amid the U.S.

00:07tariff trade tensions, pledging to boost these economic ties with Southeast Asia.

00:13How robust is the Chinese economy and how will these new trade deals boost them economically?

00:20Well, there is no doubt that there will be a gap left if the situation continues as it is.

00:26But remember, of course, we have this pause right now, so we don't have Vietnam having the 46 percent tariffs in the U.S.

00:32that otherwise would be the case. But yes, it has left a gap.

00:36Not that the relationships between China and other Southeast Asian countries were not strong anyway,

00:43but they will probably strengthen. And that would be beneficial to China.
