00:00When I test a smartphone, I often get asked, are you going to test this one or that one?
00:04Well, you all know, I usually test the complete series.
00:08Today we are going to test a very unusual smartphone.
00:11We tested its little brother, the Nothing 3A that we tested.
00:14Today is the Pro version.
00:16What more does it bring us if not still this atypical design, this atypical OS overlay?
00:23And there we notice a photo sensor which is still quite prohibitive.
00:26We'll see if it improves in photos.
00:30We'll see if it improves in photos.
01:00There you have it, a very unusual design with a reflection.
01:15So you were able to see my camera, so you can see that I'm not filming with my smartphone.
01:21Well, atypical design as I said, transparent like its little brother, glyphs like its little brother.
01:27You either like this kind of design or you don't, of course.
01:31But in any case, if we love, we will be a little different from others.
01:34We're not going to look like everyone else and we're going to say to ourselves, I have a smartphone that doesn't look like the others.
01:39Flat edges, rounded corners, mic on top, mic on bottom.
01:43You will have accompanied on this microphone from the bottom of the USB type C, a SIM card drawer, a speaker.
01:49The second speaker is on the top edge.
01:51On the right left side, sorry.
01:54You will have the volume buttons and on the right side you will have the power off button.
01:58And we're going to have the action button just below.
02:00This action button, you either like it or you don't.
02:03So what is it for?
02:04Simply go into the essential space, the essential space, as we would say at Nothing.
02:10But in any case, you either like it or you don't.
02:13For what ?
02:14Because very often, I tended to make a mistake, to press this button to wake it up
02:21or simply to turn it off, or put it on standby.
02:25And so, I was wrong and that was precisely the essential space.
02:29So there you have it, it's going to take a little time to get used to it.
02:31We will realize afterwards, of course, that it is rounded compared to the extinction ignition.
02:38And it's much smaller too.
02:40This is how we get our bearings better and better afterwards.
02:42In any case, we have a design that is out of the ordinary, as I said.
02:45The finishing qualities are impeccable, and the materials are of very high quality.
02:49In short, this smartphone has nothing to envy from other brands, high-end ones, etc.
02:54In any case, one thing is certain: it does not go unnoticed by anyone who wants to be different.
03:04What does this smartphone offer us?
03:06Well, like its little brother, we're going to have IP64, so it's splash-proof, etc.
03:10Obviously, this type of design will make it a little lower in terms of protection index.
03:17Is it disturbing? No, not at all, because since I've been using it for so long, nothing has gotten into it, I assure you.
03:22In any case, we will also find Panda Glass for rear and front protection.
03:26So, Panda Glass is the equivalent of Gorilla Glass Victus 7i, more or less, we are on this version.
03:33Now what else are you going to have?
03:35Quite simply, from Wi-Fi 6, you will have Bluetooth 5.4 LE, 5G.
03:41There is Nano SIM, but also ESIM.
03:44Here it is, for those who prefer to have ESIM.
03:47And what does all this pretty little mount give?
03:50Well, in terms of 5G, the reception is impeccable.
03:53I can easily compare it to high-end models, such as the S25 Ultra, where I had two bars, well, it also picked up two bars.
04:02In terms of communications, I had no problems.
04:05The person on the other end of the line had a Xiaomi 15 Ultra.
04:07The noise was pretty well muffled, as she told me.
04:10My voice was very clearly heard and I could hear the person very well.
04:13It also depends on the person you talk to on the other end of the line.
04:16If she has a crappy phone, that's how it is.
04:18Now, on to the Wi-Fi.
04:20Well, the download rates were very good.
04:22I was honestly getting download rates that were decent compared to Wi-Fi 6.
04:26We are not at the maximum of my line, but we were at rates which were very high,
04:31whether sending or downloading.
04:34And so, in that respect, it does the job very well.
04:36I didn't have any disconnections or anything.
04:38Now regarding Bluetooth 5.4 LE, it has been connected to a Mercedes, Volvo, Audi, BMW, Peugeot.
04:47And yes, exceptionally, he was also connected to an Italian woman.
04:52And so, as a result, nothing was declared, as the film would say.
04:56Honestly, the connection is really good.
04:59She is super stable.
05:00When it was connected to headphones, there too, we had a very good range of 10-11 meters.
05:06There was no metallic crackle of voice when I spoke to people.
05:10Well, the headphones weren't low-end headphones either, obviously.
05:15It also depends on the hardware you use.
05:18If we continue, well, we'll also go to the speakers.
05:22We have speakers that aren't too shrill, but it's true that we're pulling more from the midrange.
05:27It lacks a little roundness and warmth.
05:30In any case, that doesn't prevent us from being immersed in our films, our series, our video games.
05:35We have a sound that is not too unbalanced.
05:37In short, we have something quite good and quite stable, overall, for this general round.
05:426.77-inch AMOLED, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+ compatible, HDR Ultra picture.
05:51Well, resolution-wise, 1080 by 2392.
05:54It's Full HD+, 3000 nits of brightness in HDR, so peak.
05:59What is it worth?
06:01Quite simply, we will start with brightness.
06:04So I compared it to ultra high-end 3000 nits.
06:07It's true that we're a little bit below.
06:09I think it's been revised upwards a little bit on paper.
06:12But is it exploitable?
06:13Yes, absolutely.
06:14There is no problem using it outside.
06:16It was honestly very easy.
06:17There is no problem.
06:19And it really does the job.
06:20Don't worry.
06:21So you will be able to use it even when it is very warm outside.
06:25Then, in terms of refresh rate, it will go up to 120 Hz, but it goes down to 60 Hz.
06:29This is not LTPO.
06:30So if you put it on automatic, it will handle 60, 90 or 120 Hz depending on your needs, how you surf, etc.
06:37Is this a problem?
06:38No not at all.
06:38It does its job very well.
06:40I didn't experience any stuttering, slowdowns, or anything else, bugs, or anything that would make it annoying.
06:47No, on that side, it was perfect.
06:49In terms of resolution, here too, we have a screen that is frankly very good, which is very pleasant to look at.
06:54Watching movies, series, there is no problem.
06:57I see video games, same thing.
06:58In short, we have a screen that is impressive and has very deep blacks.
07:02A quick aside for those who play games and want to increase the refresh rate.
07:08Well yes, actually, it's stuck at 60 Hz, 60 frames per second.
07:12If you want to go higher, be careful, you will consume more.
07:15So, I prefer to say it already.
07:17You will have to go into developer options and unlock this because it is stuck at 60.
07:21You can increase it to 120 at your own risk, of course.
07:25You are gamers.
07:26I know very well that they are the kings of nitpickers, always pushing their little machines further.
07:30Well, at least this way you're informed.
07:33We are on Android 15 with 3 years of OS updates.
07:36And of course, the security updates that come with another year.
07:40It's true that we would have liked to have a little more.
07:42And yes, the competition is starting to give 5 years, 6 years, even 7 years for some.
07:48And there, well yes, we are a little limited and it's a bit of a shame.
07:51Well, we have an overlay which is Nothing OS 3.1.
07:54And this overlay is very atypical, as I already mentioned in the video of the normal Nothing 3A.
07:59Well, we have something pretty cool.
08:02You will be able to have your custom icons that are part of Nothing or simply use Google icons.
08:09In any case, this overlay is quite nice.
08:10What is a little lacking, well yes, is artificial intelligence.
08:14It's not very developed on these Nothings and that's a bit of a shame.
08:18Well, we have the essential space, of course, the essential space which takes up the main lines of its little brother, the 3A.
08:26But unfortunately, well yes, AI, photo editing and all that, we're kind of ignoring it.
08:31So, it's up to you to see if you need it or not.
08:33A Snapdragon 7S Gen 3 accompanied by its Adreno 710 GPU, 8 or 12 gigabytes depending on the storage you are going to take, 128 or 256 gigabytes.
08:43Honestly, we're looking at a pretty nice little technical sheet.
08:45Even if she doesn't deliver dazzling scores, she clearly does the job well.
08:50I was even quite surprised.
08:51Going all or nothing, it gave me a score of 790,000, 790,000 for the French, 448 points.
08:57This means that we have a smartphone that is still powerful enough to run some good games.
09:02And it will really do the job in terms of everything on the side, that is to say making calls, etc.
09:08And I want proof of it.
09:09If we go to Geekbench, which I always display there, we have a single-core score of 1177 and a multi-core score of 3282.
09:17This means that it will once again suit 80% of the people who will use this smartphone.
09:23That is to say, you will be able to go on your social networks, go to your messaging, there will be no problem.
09:29Go online, make phone calls, there will be no problem.
09:31In terms of video games, of course, there will be a small limit, that's logical.
09:36But anyway, for people who don't gamble, you'll get your money's worth without any problems.
09:42And yes, because very often there are people who buy much more expensive smartphones, with much better performance.
09:47And in the end, they only use 10% of this smartphone.
09:50Why spend more when you can get just as much for less?
09:54Well, that's just a little saying that you really need to use on this side.
09:59Because not everyone is going to use the power of an ultra high-end.
10:03And here, this smartphone does the job perfectly, quite simply.
10:07And I'll prove it.
10:08On GPU score, it will give me a score of 3307 on Geekbench score.
10:14And there, people will tell me, it's a little bit low at the level of video games.
10:17Well, in terms of video games, I did run Asphalt 9.
10:22We had something quite nice, loading times that were quite short.
10:26The game looked good, the gameplay was smooth, so we're not going to complain.
10:29In Genshin Impact, I was able to play with average graphics at 30 fps.
10:34It was stable.
10:35And we had a game that was frankly very pleasant to play and that didn't get hot.
10:39Yeah, we had a smartphone that felt really good in the hand.
10:42And I'll prove it, on Genshin Impact, we had a temperature of 43 degrees.
10:46Which is frankly very pleasant.
10:48In Fortnite, you will be able to play at 60 fps with low graphics.
10:55If you now increase your graphics, simply set it to 30 fps, it will remain stable.
11:00In any case, at 60 fps, we had a temperature of 50 degrees.
11:05Which, again, is very manageable because I've had smartphones that were much warmer in my hand.
11:10In short, we have a smartphone, and here, I will resume my main points,
11:14which will suit everyone, even gamers.
11:16But be careful, for gamers, you should be a little less demanding in terms of graphics.
11:20If there's one area where we can say Nothing has made a really good effort, it's the photography part.
11:26Already, on the Nothing 3A, we were on something not bad at all.
11:29But then, on this 3A Pro, we are on something very good.
11:32Especially at this price.
11:33I was very surprised when we saw that we can already zoom up to x60.
11:37So, okay, with the x60 issues, noise in the image, etc., there is some editing behind it.
11:44We'll just go a little less far, I'll talk about it later.
11:46But in any case, we have a very, very beautiful photo section.
11:49And I want proof of it.
11:50We start with a first 50 megapixel sensor, aperture 1.9, it's Dual Pixel.
11:55A second 50 megapixel sensor, periscope telephoto lens x3 optical zoom, aperture 2.6.
12:01A third 8-megapixel sensor, aperture 2.2, ultra wide angle.
12:04On the front, we will have a 50 megapixel, aperture 2.2.
12:08All this lovely little world is capable of filming up to 4K 30 fps maximum.
12:12And what did I think about it?
12:14It's good.
12:15Honestly, I have to admit, it's good.
12:17I was even surprised by some of the photos.
12:21We'll talk about it right away.
12:21At the selfie level, at the portrait mode level with the front sensor,
12:26you're going to have some very, very beautiful selfies, some very, very beautiful portraits.
12:30We have a bokeh effect that is not smeared.
12:33We have something very, very clean.
12:34We don't have colors that are distorted.
12:37There is no intensive smoothing.
12:39We are really onto something very good.
12:41At the macro level, there, it was a slap that I took
12:44because it's been a long time since I had such a beautiful macro.
12:48I was too surprised.
12:49So you have the x3 macro and the x6 macro.
12:52Whether they are x3 or x6, they are both equally good.
12:55And as you know, I like taking pictures of flowers.
12:58And there I was very surprised.
12:59We really have a very, very beautiful macro.
13:03Bravo Nothing because it's been a long time since I had this feeling.
13:05by making a small smartphone macro.
13:08Well, regarding the night photo, surprise too.
13:12The smartphone does its job very well.
13:14So, I was at Paradise 1 as for the Renault 13 Pro.
13:19And I actually shared these two smartphones on this visit.
13:23And there, I was surprised to see in the aquarium part where it is very, very dark
13:27in the way that the smartphone managed to manage, whether it was to take a turtle
13:32behind a window, a shark that was above me.
13:36And this shark, of course, was lying down.
13:38You can even see the scratches in the windows.
13:41In short, we have a night part that does its job very well with detail.
13:44And I really, really appreciated that.
13:47So, we really have two great parts that have been much improved.
13:51And I've been waiting for this for a long time.
13:53And there, on the selfie side, well, also.
13:55Now, on the zoom side, you will be able to go up to x60 zoom, as I said.
13:59Well, I'll settle for a 10x zoom.
14:03We have a very good ultra wide angle.
14:05You're going to have a wide angle that's okay.
14:07Zoom x2, x3, x6.
14:09There is no problem.
14:10You will definitely have detail in the image.
14:12There is no problem.
14:13We are on something very, very clean.
14:15At the 30x zoom, we start to lose a little bit of quality.
14:18There is some noise in the image.
14:19And at the x60 zoom level too.
14:21Well, I'll remind you that we're looking at a price that's much lower than the ultra high-end.
14:26So, it's forgivable.
14:27But it's not bad for those who want to zoom x60.
14:30Can also be stabilized on a tripod.
14:32There I was, smartphone in hand.
14:34In any case, in terms of video, you will have 1080p, 60 fps.
14:39I was very surprised to see that she was very, very well stabilized.
14:43I got 4K 30 fps.
14:45I was very surprised too.
14:46What I suggest is a little tour, a little scrolling through the videos and photos of Peridaisa.
14:51so that you realize the quality.
14:54And we come back after.
17:02I hope you enjoyed this little tour.
17:15We are frankly looking at photos that are very qualitative.
17:18It must be admitted.
17:19It's something very clean.
17:21I, at least, enjoyed taking pictures with this smartphone.
17:24Especially when you see the price it is offered at, it is very unusual and the photo has been improved.
17:31You have to love its design.
17:32But in any case, its design, we immediately understand why this photo optical block is prohibited.
17:39because the photo has been improved and that makes me happy.
17:43In terms of autonomy, a 5000 mAh battery, 50 watt wired fast charging, no wireless charging and no reverse charging.
17:50Obviously, if you don't have one, you don't have the other.
17:52Well, it will take between 55 and 57 minutes to charge it to 100%.
17:57In intensive use, you will last, and there, I was very surprised, 17h53, almost 18h of use.
18:06For me, that's just a little banger too.
18:08This is not the best use I have experienced in heavy use, I want to point that out.
18:13So, this intensive use, I had more than 9 hours and 50 minutes of screen time on, so to say that it is still quite intensive.
18:20I'm on my phone a lot, I admit.
18:22So, we really have good autonomy, we must admit.
18:25Now, with more moderate use, so SMS, calls, social networks a little.
18:31We also don't hang out non-stop on social networks like TikTok, which uses up a lot of battery, or Instagram.
18:38Well, I was able to last 47 hours and 22 minutes, which is close to 48 hours, which is close to two days of battery life.
18:45There too, for me, it was a very nice surprise, so a nice improvement on that side.
18:49Bravo, nothing!
18:50At 479 euros, 479 euros for my French friends, what did I think?
18:55What did I think of this Nothing 3A Pro?
18:57First, the flaws.
18:59Well, obviously we're missing IP68.
19:02That's it, that's the design that does it, that's how we are.
19:05And speaking of design, well yes, the second, well for those who don't like it, is the lens, the camera block which is quite imposing.
19:12You either like it or you don't.
19:13I put it in the faults because it can be one, but it may not be one for other people, quite simply.
19:20Now, if we continue, well yes, a little behind the competition in terms of updates.
19:26We would have liked more updates.
19:28So.
19:29And the last little point, and this is a slightly more important point, is the brightness of the screen which, I find, well we are not on what was promised compared to other brands which promise 3000 nits, etc.
19:41If we compare, we are a little below without it being a problem, but it must still be pointed out.
19:46Besides that, we have a smartphone that is still very neat with glass instead of plastic.
19:51You will simply have very good autonomy.
19:55The battery life is not bad at all.
19:56You have to put it in the right points.
19:58You will have a smartphone that is very well optimized, whether for its technical specifications or NothingOS.
20:04Well, I think it's very, very well optimized.
20:07So, another great point is that there is no software, spam or bloatware in abundance.
20:14There aren't any.
20:15And that's a very good point that needs to be highlighted because we're fed up with having all these little applications installed.
20:21And then it must be removed.
20:22So, that's a very good point.
20:25And then, there, we're going to go to a part that I clearly liked.
20:28It's that we have a screen, despite this slightly lower brightness, which is very well calibrated.
20:34We will have a very beautiful screen which is very fluid.
20:37So we have performance, a beautiful screen.
20:39And so, here we go.
20:41And that's for the photo.
20:42That's his best point.
20:44I mean, what smartphone gives you a Periscope lens for that price?
20:49There are none.
20:49And what's more, it's very good.
20:51We have a very good macro.
20:52We have, frankly, a night mode that is not bad at all.
20:55A selfie mode that's not bad either.
20:57You'll go up to 10x zoom which isn't bad either.
21:00In short, we have a photo section that is really good.
21:02And that, Nothing has worked well on that part.
21:05And that's nice.
21:07So, there you have it.
21:07It's up to you.
21:08If you want a great photoshoot, you always know it.
21:10I keep saying it.
21:11This is because the camera block part on the back of the smartphone will be much more imposing than on a smartphone where it is less advanced, obviously.
21:20In any case, there is real work that has been done here.
21:22I really liked this smartphone.
21:24Frankly, I was very surprised.
21:25And for the macro, thank you, Nothing.
21:27Honestly, you did a very good job there and I really liked it.
21:31I hope you enjoyed this little video.
21:33Don't hesitate to give me a thumbs up, subscribe, and comment, especially to see what you think of this smartphone.
21:39So, there's other stuff that's going to happen.
21:41Don't worry.
21:42I have work up my sleeve.
21:44But it doesn't matter.
21:45We are holding on to get as many tests out to you as possible.
21:48Hi.
21:48Hi.

Recommandations
