People of London: What is Endometriosis and does the NHS work well for women?

We ask Londoners about Endometriosis and whether health services in the UK do enough research for women's health.

00:00So, I used to know what it is because I knew two people who had it, but right now, as I'm talking to you, I've kind of forgotten.

00:11I do know that it causes tremendous problems and pain and people have to take a lot of time off work.

00:17And no, I don't think it's well enough research. I think women's health generally is not well enough researched.

00:27And I know the two people I knew who suffered from endometriosis both said that they never got enough help, particularly from male doctors.

00:36Coming from, to be honest, coming from my home country, Trinidad and Tobago, the public services are poor compared to the UK, compared to London.

00:50But I know that it can be better. It works. I think it works well.
