Cahill a fan of 'hands-on' Maresca

Chelsea slipped to 6th in the Premier League after a 2-2 draw at home to Ipswich Town on Sunday.

00:00I like him, he's very hands-on. I was away with Chelsea pre-season, par for the pre-season.

00:05I saw him working personally on the training ground, very hands-on. He's got a clear way

00:09that he wants to play and he's still trying to develop this young Chelsea squad and he's

00:15bumped in the road as you can see. I think the next phase for this Chelsea squad is just

00:20the consistency levels, you know, the put runs of games together this season that's

00:25friend to be consistent and then just dips off so I feel like that's sometimes what you get

00:30in the squad. I always say, just gotta be patient, it's sometimes hard because of the history

00:35and in terms of them winning trophies and being in the last stage of competitions all the time

00:40but the reality is that they've changed the squad around like we've just said and they're still

00:44growing but you need to see progression for the fans to obviously believe and I feel like they are

00:48progressing. They've got a huge end to the season because they've got this competition and they've

00:55qualified for the Champions League so we'll see from the end of the season if there has been

00:59progression but again it's all in their hands they could qualify for the Champions League and win

01:03a trophy in this year over which would be a great season so I hope you can do that.
