A brutal gang-rape incident has shaken Uttar Pradesh’s Kasganj district. A girl returning from the market with her fiancé was kidnapped near a canal, taken to a nearby field, and gang-raped by a group of men. Before fleeing, the accused also looted the girl’s fiancé.
Police have arrested eight accused: Akhilesh Pratap Singh alias APS alias Gabbar (a BJP member), Amit, Satyapal, Ajay, Rinku, Saurabh, Brajesh, and Sonu. During interrogation, they shockingly admitted to regularly targeting girls found alone in the area near the canal.
